4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Not too sure about vegan or healthy options, but there is a lot of great variety!

Parking: Parking is miserable here, and there is a confusing system in place on where you can and can't park. The school makes you move on game weekends and people are getting ticketed and towed all the time.

3 College Freshman

Transportation: It's great that there is the free CAT bus system for Clemson and the surrounding areas, but their roots make it difficult to reach certain destinations. It is definitely worth it to have a car while attending school here.

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: Clemson is great with giving out financial aid and my transaction went smoothly. I've heard mixed reviews of people's experiences though. Depending on your major, it can be extremely difficult to maintain the required GPA in order to keep a scholarship.

5 College Freshman

Athletics: The athletic facilities are incredible. There is everything from the traditional free weights and exercise machines to an enormous climbing wall. All of the equipment is very well maintained.

Campus Dining: Clemson University dining lacks diversity in both food options and hours of operation. The dining facilities are older and not kept up well.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Stay close to friends !

2 College Sophomore

Parking: Spots are always filled, distance is a huge concern as well

4 College Sophomore

Nightlife: People are always downtown !!!

Athletics: Fun to be at the games, the whole student body support athletics here

3 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: Not enjoyable and sometimes can be annoying based on the options that we have.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Enough to to be satisfied with the options.

4 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: Very safe and amusing atmosphere.

Academics: I am one of few who are special education majors here at Clemson and I get plenty of support.

Campus Strictness: Campus strictness does not prevent me to enjoy my experience here at Clemson.

4 College Sophomore

Weather: Doe not affect my experience at all. Love the weather here.

Off-Campus Housing: Off campus housing is great, there's a wide variety of options and plenty of places that are relatively cheap and close to campus. Many places are on the major CAT bus route or within biking or walking distance.

Weather: The weather can be unpredictable but it's very nice for the most part. lots of days are good for swimming on the lake.

3 College Senior

Greek Life: Greek life is really prominent, there are several good frat houses and many of them throw good parties, but if you don't join a sorority or fraternity you can still make friends and find parties. There are alternative circles on campus, and they do overlap with greek life at times.

Overall Experience: The Clemson experience is what you make of it, and it's not the same for everyone, but if you find where you fit in it's great. Greek life is prominent if that's your thing, and if it's not, there are plenty of other circles to get involved in (there's a big climbing community on campus, club sports, and WSBF!) Once you figure out how to park or ride a bike, find the good restaurants, and make good friends, it's fantastic. Also, FOOTBALL duh.

Computers: Lots of computers available on campus, and the whole campus is wireless. Clemson requires students have their own laptops the first year, but you could go without. Sometimes printers break but generally they get fixed quickly and there are many available across campus.

2 College Senior

Campus Housing: Campus housing buildings are generally small, cold, unattractive, and more expensive than they should be. However, they're very convenient and close to campus, and off campus housing is generally cheap and comfortable. Resident housing association also does some fun activities and free giveaways.

3 College Senior

Campus Strictness: As far as resident life, it really depends on which dorm you're in. They do bust people for underage drinking and smoking in the dorms though. It's a wet campus so technically you can drink on campus if you're of age.

Academics: The professors in the psychology department are very good for the most part and the workload isn't heavy. I would recommend doing a B.S. and picking up a minor. The career center is helpful for jobs.

Clemson offers an amazing college experience. Students return for the rest of their lives to see how the campus has changed and to support the Tigers. Although it is located in a small town, the school is big enough that there is never a dull moment, and the location only makes the student body closer to one another. As anyone who has been to Clemson knows, the students' blood here is orange, and the Clemson spirit is contagious for almost anyone who attends.
