4 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: No frustrations thus far. The process is going well, just wish I would have been better advised 2 terms ago. Now I'm a year behind schedule...

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I like the locations of the campuses and the number of course offerings. Keeps me interested in continuing here

4 College Freshman

Campus Resources: The campus is clean and I feel safe there. I haven't used many of the student resources in a long time

3 College Freshman

Campus Resources: again, I'm pretty neutral here too, haven't used it much yet

Tuition & Financial Aid: Of course it's much more affordable than 4 year schools, but I have one child in college, another will be in college in a couple of years and I'm in college. We aren't eligible for most financial aid so paying for everyone is tough when you want to keep your debt to a minimum

3 College Freshman

Facilities: Some of the buildings are far apart from each other which can make it difficult to get from class to class on time.

Academic Experience: working on pre nursing courses, have received conflicting information from a couple of different advisors.

Workload is fine, curriculum is interesting, facilities are clean and easy to access. I have not had to access internships yet.

5 College Freshman

Academic Experience: the registration process is great to me. Registration is opened in order of the number of credits you have and since I've been taking classes here over a large amount of time, I always get the classes I want, no complaints

Career Services: I have to be honest and say that I really haven't had any experience in this area. I haven't attempted to use any of these services.

Student Body: The student body at my school is very diverse. In one class I sit next to a 19 year old in her first year of school, while on the other side of the class there are a couple of people in their 50s. This class is one with lots of interaction and discussion. I can tell you we have everything from displaced adults looking to start over in their mid life, recovering addicts also trying to start over, young people who have either had it very easy or very hard and people from every socioeconomic level. I learn something new every day from these people and look forward to seeing them.

Online Courses: I have completed one online course and am registered for two more next term. I choose online courses whenever I can because I am a busy adult student/mom with children still at home. I'm determined to continue my education and finish my degree while seeing my children through their school years. Working online makes me more available to my family and more importantly, I can work on my studies on my own time. I believe the one area that online courses fall short in is peer-to-peer interaction. Since I don't see my classmates, it's impossible to interact with them like I do in my in-class courses. Luckily I am a self starter and work well on my own.

4 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: just had trouble paying for books and accessories for school.

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: Have not played sport here yet but maybe soon.

Career Services: I really enjoy this school so far. People are very friendly and helpful. there are great clubs and activities. I excited to see what is in store for me here.

5 College Student

Career Services: Amazing career center! And the teachers offer internships at so many different places so we can get a "taste" of everything!

5 College Student

Facilities: Amazing teachers and students! The teachers really want to help you succeed! The students are there to actually learn and not goof off like pcc!!!!

Overall Experience: It is a really good school, and I would definitely recommend it. It is a good start for right out of high school, and gives an amazing education. I do not regret choosing this school, and feel I m getting the most for my money.

Student Body: A lot of the students work hard and are quite friendly, but there is not a whole lot of togetherness. People are pretty accepting and supportive, though.

3 College Freshman

Facilities: Since it is a community college, there is not the same atmosphere as a university where the students live and spend their entire time on campus. A lot of students just go to school and come home, which is nice, but there is not the same need for certain resources. There is not much of a "social scene" or a lot of campus life. It is nice and you can hang out with friends, but it is not as geared towards that as some schools.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: A lot of it is how much you are willing to put into it. Just like any other school, certain classes or majors are going to have a bigger workload than others, but it is manageable. They do help with figuring these things out. There are also different resources to use when you need help.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: A lot of it is pretty straight forward. They do not have some of the off-beat classes, but do offer a lot of different ones for whatever subject. For the most part it is pretty straight forward and easy to figure things out, though.

3 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: Since it is a smaller school, classes are not always at the best times and maybe only offered once. Not everything explained in terms of what a class is in the curriculum hand-book, but it is easy enough to find out. Credits do not transfer to all schools, but you can easily find out if your school is applicable with it.

4 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: All college is expensive, but this school is manageable. There are also opportunities for scholarships.

3 College Freshman

Career Services: I have not had the chance to personally use them. I have heard that they are helpful, though.

4 College Freshman

Campus Resources: I haven't used a ton of the campus resources, but the ones I have are good. The gym is open for students to use, the library has a lot of resources for help, and it's just an overall nice campus.
