2 College Sophomore

Facilities: Its like a quick maze, get in and get through and get out. Buildings are all the same except colors.

Academic Experience: Really easy Classes, not to hard not to easy, professors understand the whole community college aspect. they also encourage transferring. They got Labs and Tutors all real good people for free.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Not To Many Choices per semester but all the classes are what you'd expect

3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Took forever to process, and the staff was a lot of help but it took forever for the process to progress.

Student Body: I do not know much about the students in school for i go to just take my classes.

1 College Senior

Online Courses: Was the not the greatest experience for me because it was very difficult to do online classes for a biology class.

3 College Senior

Facilities: It all really depends on what teacher you get when you sign up for a class. The same thing goes for the advisors

3 College Senior

Career Services: Havent used that center so I do not know for sure how well it is.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: The school has many centers for tutoring, counseling, and even for students to just hang out.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: The school has a large computer room, but their internet is not the greatest when on wifi.

Academic Flexibility: Theres definitely good flexibilty here at wright, I could either take my classes in the mornings or evenings if I desired. The frustating part is taht classes get full very fast so you might miss out on the schedule you want it's a first come first serve basis. Ive heard a lot from students that its important that you talk to your advisor about taking the right classes for your major, as in the past students have gotten the wrong classes.

Overall Experience: It's been good so far here I havent encountered much problems and the notion of being more of an individuaL is more bettter than high school. My school is unique in that people here do care for the well being of the students, their health and emotional well being. I would definately choose this school again if I had the chance.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I feel that the tuition here is a little steep here for a community college but it is afffordable, the education for the money is somewhat worth it as you can sometimes get a professor whos maybe too relaxed about his or her teaching methods. The financial aid office is knowleagable and far more friendlier than the other city colleges, you can get your questions answered here. Tips that I have for financial aid is to sign up early for it, and to keep track of your expenses.

Career Services: The career center is great quality, the school offers many services to ensure that paople have the job they deserve and worked hard for. The alumninetwork is made up of many peopel from the chicagoland area who have gone on to succed in various fields and can be seen many times. the job prospects are good, not good enough to live a rich man's style but good enough to live off for the next twenty years.

Online Courses: My experience witgh online courses has been good I use the online course for math because thats how everyone here takes them it is a requirement; we dont have a traditional math course. The work load is steady and at your own pace, the professor and the tutors are always there to help you with anything you have trouble with. And all the students help each other out if you need help also. They differ from a traditional classroom experience as being more simple to understand and as I mentioned before you learn at your own pace instead of other peoples paces. The registration is simple and again accessible.

Facilities: The unique things about my school is the staff and the professors, they make you feel welcome and comfortable with your sorroundings. They have a great attitude that you can that yes it is possible to succeed at a community college and take advantage of the great oppurtunities that are offered here. The social life is somewhat okay as this is a commuter school and has no campus so school spirit is missing here. But there are opportunities to enter clubs and see the fantastic plays that are produced here.

Academic Experience: Wright's theater program is small. This statement has been repeated by students and faculty members. Our theater seats about 200, and my theater professor has described the acoustic within it as lackluster, so classes were usually held in the TV studio. However, I will defend my college tooth and nail against critics who are too harsh. Theater courses help a variety of students within the major, from actors to crew members to etc, to prepare for transfer and indulge in their passions. Recently, I along with three of my fellow students were nominated to compete in the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival in Saginaw, Michigan, and were allowed to perform our play, "Jesus Hopped the A Train," by Stephen Adly Guirgis. Before we performed, our director said that while we may have been one of the underdogs, we were there and we were performing our play. We stood as equals with some of the biggest theater colleges in the country.

Academic Experience: While I may not have been the best of students in high school, Wright really helped me improve my abilities as a student. The course catalog is varied to help a variety of students with different majors, registration is straightforward and easy to complete, the workload isn't too stressful, and the teachers are well taught and easy to talk to. Because of this combination of factors, my GPA has risen significantly since I started at Wright.

3 College Senior

Facilities: As a community college, Wright may not look like much. And while certain services may simply be adequate, their offers to students are still accessible to students.

3 College Senior

Career Services: While I have not utilized Wright's career services as much as other students have, they are helpful. Wright hosts job fairs every semester that offer a myriad of options to all its students. Teachers are more than willing to talk to students about career options that are available in their particular major.

College Senior

Online Courses: I have not taken any online courses at Wright. All my classes were in the classroom. I hear from other students that they are okay, and can be as helpful as other classes.
