Campus Resources: i feel like in this school in order to be student friendly you must have to put yourself out there. i do feel like just a number and there is not really must spirit to get you into activites or social groups

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: i have yet to try and transfer credits. classrooms and curriculum are fairly easy and teachers are understanding if you try to make a social relationship with them

3 College Senior

Student Body: the school is somewhat diverse. different ethnic groups and social classes.

Tuition & Financial Aid: the schools tuition is much cheaper than universities, but i still don't understand the high cost of tuition from all over. school is needed all around for people the excel in real life. how do colleges expect people to enter the world with thousands of dollars in debt. my education here i feel is not worth the money but a city college is the cheapest way to start off with out drowning your self in debt. i cannot receive financial aid due to my current income, but i hardly have enough income to make tuition payments. also my experience in the financial aid office has been horrible the attitudes on these women are appalling. you try to be polite and yet they still act like you're wasting their time when they are being paid for it. if they do not like customer service they should not have took the job.

Overall Experience: their class size is relatively small so it is easier to get the help you need. they have a variety of classes you can take. some teachers teach right out of the book and some seem to make things up as you go along. there are many teachers which are from other countries so sometimes it is difficult to understand them.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: as of what ive seen so far from coming to the school there are many fairs in which people do come and try to recruit them into their school or a job. i see a lot of different colleges coming but im still yet to see the alumni try and get the students out there. you must go to them in order to push your name out there.

Career Services: they are very unorganized unless you know someone. they seem to really not care and dont try to put effort into the students.

Career Services: There really isn't any support or career services at Malcolm X unless you're a veteran.

3 College Senior

Student Body: Nothing special but it's easy to tell who is in school for the right reasons.

College Senior

Academic Experience: There are no majors, just programs and general eds.

2 College Senior

Academic Experience: Classes are really easy and people have poor attitudes.

3 College Senior

Facilities: People in medical programs are very smart and easy to talk to. Many general ed students only come for a refund check.

3 College Senior

Online Courses: I took two classes online. One professor did not communicate well, so everyone had to email other students if they didn't understand an assignment. The other professor was one of the best that I've ever had.

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: The general eds are somewhat boring and there aren't enough options for non-science classes. Academic advisors will give students a learning plan that has different categories for a degree, which is helpful. Some classes required for an A.A./A.S. are completely pointless because the do not transfer to private universities or nursing programs.
