Tuition & Financial Aid: Good STEM scholarship but it took too long to get my refund check

Campus Resources: PTK gives some good scholarship offers and my advisor is a cool guy plus there is a good nursing program

Campus Resources: Pretty decent wifi on the third floor and in the library

Overall Experience: Pretty boring overall but I've met some cool and interesting people and got involved with PTK

Career Services: There really isn't any support or career services at Malcolm X unless you're a veteran.

3 College Senior

Student Body: Nothing special but it's easy to tell who is in school for the right reasons.

College Senior

Academic Experience: There are no majors, just programs and general eds.

Academic Experience: Classes are really easy and people have poor attitudes.

3 College Senior

Facilities: People in medical programs are very smart and easy to talk to. Many general ed students only come for a refund check.

Online Courses: I took two classes online. One professor did not communicate well, so everyone had to email other students if they didn't understand an assignment. The other professor was one of the best that I've ever had.

Academic Flexibility: The general eds are somewhat boring and there aren't enough options for non-science classes. Academic advisors will give students a learning plan that has different categories for a degree, which is helpful. Some classes required for an A.A./A.S. are completely pointless because the do not transfer to private universities or nursing programs.

Campus Resources: I love the fact that the college has a workout place and a dance studio. They have a wellness center and also counselling for those in need to vent. Overall, there are a great amount of resources on campus, even child care.

Campus Resources: There are a handful of computer labs on campus. Printing is always available for those who need printing. There is no issues with computer networking.

Academic Flexibility: I have had some academic challenges at school but overall I was able to get through it. I was able to have flexibility with attending class, studying, and also having a job.

Academic Experience: Academics overall are pretty good. Of course, all professors are different in their own way but I like most of what they have to offer.
