My college experience was transformative. I appreciated the diverse academic offerings, extracurricular opportunities, and the chance to meet people from various backgrounds. The supportive faculty, engaging courses, and access to resources like libraries and research facilities enriched my learning journey. However, I believe there's room for improvement in terms of mental health support services, as well as more emphasis on practical skill development and real-world application of knowledge. Additionally, fostering a more inclusive and equitable campus culture would enhance the overall experience for everyone. Overall, my college experience was positive, but there's always room for growth and enhancement.
CCSF does their best to help student with whatever they require, whether it be help planning your study path or even financial aid. Everyone is nice, and they will try their best to help you!
As a recent high school graduate attending City College of San Francisco, my experience made me feel isolated at times. Every time I walk on campus it's quiet and feels like a ghost town. Nothing there excites me, and everybody is shy. Some of the teachers are nice and engaging while some are careless and don't give support. This is my second semester at City and I truly don't like it anymore. My teachers are amazing but the environment is not for me and I'm glad that I have figured that out. As a first-time college student, I didn't expect my freshmen year to have a lot of trials and tribulation. I met some cool people who made me realize that there is more beyond City College and more opportunities that will give and support me in my decisions. Some things that I like about the City that they have a good public transportation system and exciting career pathways. Some changes I hope City does is to be more engaging for future scholars,add more curricular activities,more sports to play
