5 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: Most of the people who attend The Citadel are very strong, unique, loyal, trustworthy, honest, and well rounded people. The Citadel molds students into what this country needs; fine civilians of our country that will always do the right thing; a cut above the average young adult.

Guys & Girls: It's Southern, in a Not So Southern Way. If you went here or attend currently, you noticed that there are the following groups of people:
-The kids from New Jersey and New England area who all wanted to be marine contracts
-The kids from California who all want to be Marine Contracts
-The regular kids from other parts of the US who want to be Army contracts.
-The group of kids from the south who aren't very motivated and came because their parents wanted them to.

The girls are great....at College of Charleston. There are very, very few attractive female cadets. Even then, there is an existing stigma against dating between cadets.

For the most part, though, everyone is fairly athletic. There isn't much to do during the week besides go to the gym. Lots of people get fairly obsessed with fitness.

Guys & Girls: Bro Time – Yes, most people leave here with a few close guy friends. But you can forget about meeting girls, unless you overcome some barriers at CofC or just get lucky or know someone from high school that's in charleston. Most cadets are locked in five days a week and have leave on the weekend, but with restrictive curfews. 12 pm for knobs, 1am for upperclassmen. We all dress the same, and are all pretty much pro military and have conservative views with few exceptions. The few girls that are here usually aren't ones to write home about, but if you're a non-cadet girl, you can have a field day if buff military guys are your type.

Guys & Girls: Some dont get along because they started enrolling women on campus. Women have not been on that campus for over 200 years. The freshman class has only 5% women.
