Tuition & Financial Aid: It is extremely hard to contact financial aid. The main office is in another city and getting someone to actually speak to you is difficult. The tuition fees for the courses are very reasonable so it frees up more money to obtain a bachelor's degree at another university. However, financial aid in general is tricky. The money for those of us who have previously been to college and are now returning is not there. Many "older", returning students are working full-time and may have even maxed out our aid due to a career change or are still paying on previous loans from years before. There needs to be an easier way to get the money needed to go to college and better yourself.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Although Cisco College- Abilene does not suggest a premium for tuition and fees, trying to communicate with a financial aid adviser was hard. Before class, I emailed the financial coordinator and other counselors for questions I had that pertained to my specific situation. When I finally spoke with an individual at the Abilene campus I asked, " what do students typically do when funding is limited?" She replied " I don't know?!" with a careless attitude. I received no guidance for financial questions as a student. I needed help (answers to questions) to point me in the right direction. Fortunately, I stumbled upon fastweb online...

Tuition & Financial Aid: The school's tuition is pretty reasonable. The financial aid process is sometimes long, but most of the time is successful. The value of education received would be somewhat worth the tuition.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Tuition costs are very low, and the financial aid counselors are so friendly and helpful. They really do care about getting you the amount of aid you need.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I do belive the value of education that I'm receiving is worth what I've paid. The financial aid office never answers their phone. When you live out of town with a question this can be frustrating. After sending several emails to different people someone did call me and they were helpful. The school doesn't make all of their fees known. You may have some surprise charges on your account!
