Tuition & Financial Aid: Like I said I need aid to continue with school. I wish it was as easiest as filling out form and the aid magically appear In the school account. No such luck. I have to go in and try to get answers as to how to get aid.

4 College Sophomore

Career Services: I'm not there yet for job searching. I'm just trying to finish prerequisites so that I can enter nursing school.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The courses that I've had were great. My Chemistry professor made class interesting. His passion for the subject was contagious .

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I have a great academic advisor. She has help me put together realistic goals to complete prerequisites so to be prepared to apply for nursing

4 College Sophomore

Student Body: We definitely have diversity, but it's mostly good because we compliment each other.

Campus Resources: Well, I'm just a part time student so the only facilities I use is the computer lab. The staff is always willing to help if I have any questions. Also, the campus is beautiful; it's right on the river so after classes I usually run the river walk.

Academic Experience: Right now I'm working on my prerequisites. I'm trying to get aid to finish that and move on to nursing school. I've heard excellent reviews on the nursing program, It's both challenging and fulfilling. I look forward to when I'm in nursing school.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: So far the classes have been challenging for which I'm thankful. This will prepare me for what's ahead in nursing school.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: The transferring of credit and the choices for classes were the easy part; It's the financial aid that's the hardest to nail down. I've filled out an SAP appeal and still have not heard back. I've been on the phone but it's hard to get through because of so many caller. I've gone by the school twice to get answers. They said to update my appeal. I did just that and still no email. A little frustrating. I guess I'm driving back to the school .

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition is very reasonable. The financial aid office keeps up pretty good but there have been times when I had to drive over and make sure that my HOPE scholarship was there, because sometimes you don't get notified if you no longer are eligible for an financial aid.

Academic Flexibility: Getting in was hard because I graduated in December, I had to drive to and from the college many times to figure things out because they would put me on hold to the point of hanging up on me.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: They have many classes offered for many majors.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: The transfer program is really great, makes sure you get as many classes as you can there with Chatt State. The professors really work with you and help you learn as much as possible about your major.

2 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I've taken one online course. It seems that more work is given in order to compensate for there not being any classroom time. Weekly tests combined with required reading and several assignments during the week almost seem like more than what would be given in an average on campus class. It was difficult to manage.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: There isn't a lot of variety at my school as far as ethnic backgrounds go. It may be that I have never paid attention though. There are students of all ages though, from freshly graduating from high school to retirees.

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: Chattanooga State has one of the best Nursing programs in East Tennessee. It's rigorous, but students are well-prepared for the workforce.

3 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition is very reasonable. However, obtaining information from the Financial Aid office can be difficult. You usually have to go through several people to get the answers you need.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: I work full time in the morning and afternoon, so evening classes were a must. I was always able to select classes that I needed that worked with my schedule. I also, have a prior bachelor's degree, and many of my classes transferred with no problem.

College Sophomore

Career Services: I really have never looked into these options, so I wouldn't know.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I like the school just because its very inexpensive the professors are great and its pretty easy to start up and the time to sign up is very flexible but I don't receive any of the fun college experience. I just go to get my education

3 College Freshman

Campus Resources: the athletic center isn't that great the library is average but great computers though, their isn't much campus activities or I barely hear any of it.

4 College Freshman

Campus Resources: some of the computers are awesome but in my lab class their really outdated

3 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: My classes are pretty flexible just because I took online classes other than that there are okay.

5 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: I had problems with my financial aid but eventually I got a hold of someone from chatt state that helped me and I got all my money that I deserved and the tuition is very inexpensive compared to other schools. The only problem I have is calling because I usually had a different answer and it was better emailing the main person so my experience wasn't the greatest but it worked out in the end
