2 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I've taken one online course. It seems that more work is given in order to compensate for there not being any classroom time. Weekly tests combined with required reading and several assignments during the week almost seem like more than what would be given in an average on campus class. It was difficult to manage.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: There isn't a lot of variety at my school as far as ethnic backgrounds go. It may be that I have never paid attention though. There are students of all ages though, from freshly graduating from high school to retirees.

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: Chattanooga State has one of the best Nursing programs in East Tennessee. It's rigorous, but students are well-prepared for the workforce.

3 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition is very reasonable. However, obtaining information from the Financial Aid office can be difficult. You usually have to go through several people to get the answers you need.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: I work full time in the morning and afternoon, so evening classes were a must. I was always able to select classes that I needed that worked with my schedule. I also, have a prior bachelor's degree, and many of my classes transferred with no problem.

College Sophomore

Career Services: I really have never looked into these options, so I wouldn't know.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I like the school just because its very inexpensive the professors are great and its pretty easy to start up and the time to sign up is very flexible but I don't receive any of the fun college experience. I just go to get my education

3 College Freshman

Campus Resources: the athletic center isn't that great the library is average but great computers though, their isn't much campus activities or I barely hear any of it.

4 College Freshman

Campus Resources: some of the computers are awesome but in my lab class their really outdated

3 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: My classes are pretty flexible just because I took online classes other than that there are okay.

5 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: I had problems with my financial aid but eventually I got a hold of someone from chatt state that helped me and I got all my money that I deserved and the tuition is very inexpensive compared to other schools. The only problem I have is calling because I usually had a different answer and it was better emailing the main person so my experience wasn't the greatest but it worked out in the end

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: i really like the schools affordablility and teacher because thet are really nice and helpful. But it was an okay experiance so fa because all i have taken is general education classes and there s nothing to do at the school and the student body isnt really friendlt mostly nice and reserved or busy

4 College Freshman

Career Services: they offer rwhat i need and all of it will transfer

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: i have only done general ed classes so i cant say much about my major. but i have learned a lot from that school taking lecture classes and some online classes

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: they offer what i need to transfer

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: so fare I have only taken my general ed classes so I haven't take any classes for my specific major

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: Registration was fairly easy and it was a long duration so it gave plenty of time for students to pick a class. I like my professors they are very helpful and enthused on what they teach. The coursework is not that difficult but it is a lot of work and studying but fairly easy to grasp on to the new materials.

3 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: it was felxible to pick classes but i mostly picked online because the rest of the classes didnt go with my work scedulae and because i commute and idint want to drive to chat 4 times a week

4 College Freshman

Career Services: They were very convenient of sending my transcript.

4 College Freshman

Online Courses: I like my online course its very easy to handle and the instructors are very considering of technical problems and move dates to accommodate the students. They improved the online course which makes it very easy to busy and have new features that I love and updates you grade instantly, well except or the instructors they take a while to respond. My instructors have been very helpful if I have a question about the course

4 College Freshman

Online Courses: they are easy to use and a better opition than a lecture class for some courses

3 College Freshman

Facilities: The campus is overall small and does not have much to offer but it does it job and it never crowded. There isn't much of a social scene or school spirit, because I usually come for my class then leave. However, the landscape is really nice and the facilities are good.

4 College Freshman

Facilities: the school is realy clean and i like how its not inside a city and secluded in its own area

3 College Freshman

Student Body: The students from my school are mainly above their md twenties. I have a lot of classmates that are in their late twenties ad early thirties, some are in their late forties, and I hardly see students that are my own age. Most students are either whit or African American. I see few Hispanics, Asians, Pacific Islanders, and Middle Eastern Heritage.

3 College Freshman

Student Body: the student body isnt really out there. there islot of older students so there isnt much inteaction ith the students. i havent made a singke friend there i just go to class and go home because its a communty college
