5 College Junior

Overall Experience: This spring I am finishing off my freshman year and I love it! It's been a very smooth and easy transition from high school and I love all the freedom I have to be my own person. The faculty is so helpful and the classes are the right degree of challenging and I feel like I have so many options when it comes to choosing which classes to take. The campus is so comfortable and beautiful - I'm at school from 9am to 5pm Mondays-Thursdays and I feel completely comfortable. All the resources are readily available as is extra tutoring and advisement. It's an overall great school!

Facilities: The campus is modern and very, very, green. The courtyards are beautiful and have lots of lounging areas. All over campus are various study rooms all to student's use. In every hallway there are sitting areas where students can wait for classes to begin. It's overall very great and comfortable.

Student Body: CGCC's student body is very diverse. There are so many clubs to be apart of, and all kinds of different seminars to attend which highlight many different universal struggles. There is always some kind of event going on at CGCC.

3 College Junior

Career Services: I'm not too sure of the Career Service opportunities as it is something I have not been interested in as of right now.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: I am majoring in Biology but since it is a community college, most of my classes I'll take are all pre requisites.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: Registration is super easy and done online, or we could have advisors help us through it. The professors are always super understanding and easy to reach too.

5 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The school offers great scholarships for academic achievement and the financial aid advisors are so helpful! I got my first semester completely free via president's scholarship!

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: CGCC offers free tutoring! The greatest part is that although it's free, I still learn so much from all the tutors and they're all so friendly and willing to help. The library is huge and comfortable. The student center always has activites or BBQ days or $1 ice cream and pizza - it really strives to get all the students to connect. CGCC is probably one of the best schools when it comes to our resources.

Campus Resources: There are computer labs all over campus with updated computers that actually allow students to get work done in a timely manner. The school starts every student off with 50 free prints which never expire which is awesome and helps students get adjusted to the printing process on campus. The wifi is great, sometimes slow during the busiest parts of the day, but never excessively so!

4 College Junior

Online Courses: The online classes are great, but it does also depend heavily on the professor.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: CGCC is a great school with a beautiful campus. It is always striving to grow and to get all the students involved in various activities. I really feel at home there.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: They have great programs and great professors. The student body is not that bad, and they are very involved. Some of the academic counselors are not so helpful either. Financial aid is difficult, they make everything difficult and make you feel like you are stupid

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: I haven't really had any problems with the school. Just simple things that need to be taken care of. Like paying for classes, and making sure they have you marked as a in state student so you are not paying so much!

4 College Senior

Facilities: They offer a lot of things for students. Universities come and talk to you about what they have to offer.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: Biology. The work load is what i expected.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: They let current enrolled students get first pick on classes.

5 College Senior

Career Services: They are the nicest people. The career center helps you a lot and helps you focus on what fits you

3 College Senior

Student Body: I don't really talk to anyone, but for the most part a lot of students are involved with the school and activities, tons of organizations!

3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Financial aid can be a little difficult, they can't really answer the questions i have sometimes. Sometimes rude as well. I understand it can be frustrating and they are doing the best they can to make sure we get what we need. But just like little simple things i ask they give me this look like are you stupid?

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: Whenever i need something. They somehow have someone for everything i need.

5 College Senior

Campus Resources: Free wi-fi. I have not had a problem with internet or problems with printing. We do have to pay 10 cents per page printed.

4 College Senior

Online Courses: I save a lot of time from driving to the school and home. I can always do assignments on my time just because I am always busy!

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: My favorite aspect of the school would be my psychology teacher. He is an awesome instructor and is the reason why I am choosing to get a degree in that subject area.

2 College Freshman

Student Body: This sounds really bad, but most people are not very smart. The majority of people that are smart, are only there because of some exceptional situation that prevented them from getting to go to a University.

4 College Freshman

Facilities: I really like the way the campus is set up. The area for students to congregate is great because I always run into old friends and it's a nice open area.
