Campus Resources: No athletic center on my campus. library is OK and the campus is really clean. They need to bring back the bookstore because with the online store, you have to pay for everything you order. What kind of school don't have a campus bookstore for students. it is so bad that they can't even send out the right uniform.

Academic Experience: The program is like all other nursing program - hard, but the professors and their assistants do a great job of teaching and assisting the students in every way possible to pass their exams.

Overall Experience: Still too early to give a definite answer to this question. So far I am loving the atmosphere and the energy I fee form the professors.

Online Courses: So far it is alright. Only need to take 1 class online, so not so sure that it is fair to rate.

Student Body: The nursing students work together to make sure that everyone in their group makes it to the end.The ethnicity is mixed with many students from other parts of the world. Students work together no matter their background, political beliefs, sexual orientation or religion.

Facilities: Staff and faculty are very friendly and try their best to make students feel at home. The program of study is very rigid but it allows students to work harder and that will make them better nurses if they stick to the program. The place is kept in immaculate condition and the SIMcare labs are a great resource. All the professors are readily available to all students as long as they are not in class.

Academic Experience: This is a nursing school, so pretty much from the first day you are in nursing classes. This is good as opposed to traditional schools that make you take pre-requisites before you can start the program.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: The good thing is that it is an accelerated program, which means classes only last 8 weeks. That way you can take more classes.

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I have been able to take online classes as not to have to miss a lot of work. They also took most of my credits, which means no need to take English, math and science classes over.

5 College Senior

Academic Experience: It feels great. Everyone there is majoring in nursing so a lot of the staff is able to help you out and understand what you are going through as a nursing student.

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: The class schedule fit my work schedule but they are not as understanding when it comes to changing a clinical site.

Campus Resources: There are no problems connecting to the on campus internet. There are reasonable amount of laptops in the library to check out. The printing on campus is easily accessible and the wireless access and speed is fast.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Although the tuition has increased in 2012, the education received from this school is well worth. I have 80% of financial aid covering for my tuition and assistance from myCAA with covering approved courses. The only thing that I hope the school would do differently is have the tuition rate and fees remain the same for students that have enrolled prior to the change in rate.

Academic Flexibility: At first, I was a little hesitant about attending this school due to it not being well known around my area. Then after several advertisement in the radio, online and on TV, I chose to attend this school and found the experience to be educational and rewarding. The on and off campus courses offered were both met in expectations and the professors of each course were always willing to help their students understand the materials.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition is very expensive, my financial aid does not cover some of the expenses. I believe that the value of the education I'm getting is worth it, but I feel that the school does not offer very many opportunities to help out. I work full time, so trying to keep my GPA up as well as apply for an internal job within the school is unrealistic to a certain extent. The school needs to take into account that tuition should be adjusted if students buy their books from another online source instead of the bookstore. Luckily, if you use a badge number provided you can auto. put the books on the acct.

Academic Experience: I will say that the teachers are excellent here. Not just the didactic part of the class, but the clinical instructors are seriously experienced, educated individuals looking to educate a competent nursing population. The teachers are all realistic about what aspects of nursing will be important and what real world nursing really is. The workload is manageable; we are I'm nursing school so it is expected to be quite a bit. The curriculum is designed so that teachers base their exams on power points, textbook, online questions, and/or publisher questions.

Academic Experience: You have to be on your game when discussing the financial aspects of your degree. Student services have mistakenly had my financial aid wrong, as well as many other classmates. Our final exam schedule is not out until one to the weeks before the final exam, so making arrangements if you work is out of the question. Student services are some of the rudest, non-accommodating staff. They do not help out and do not answer questions directly. They are not courteous to the students.

Career Services: Well, I still did not graduate from the school. I have a couple years left. But what i can tell you is that Chamberlain is very helpful in helping their students find jobs after graduation. Weather it is via fellow peers, academic advisers or professors, their is many ways and tips with jobs and steps to take to apply and quality.
