5 College Junior

Overall Experience: I really like it here at CWC.

I love the theatre program. I love most of the student body. I love all of my professors. The only thing that I would do differently is try to get more money from departments and scholarships before coming here.

Career Services: I haven't yet experienced this.

Academic Flexibility: Class schedules are super easy to manage. There are few, if any, class conflicts.

I have yet to experience transferring credits, so I'm not sure about that.

Academic Experience: I absolutely love attending college.

Personally, I'm overloaded a lot of the time, but that's entirely my doing. I absolutely love being immersed in the school work and atmosphere of theatre and the performing arts.

The job opportunities here are great.

I love working in the theatre.

Academic Experience: Registering for classes is super easy. I feel like I learn a lot here. I love all of my professors. The workload isn't at all bad if you're not like me and take way too many classes.

Campus Resources: I love the library.

Campus activities aren't too great.

The campus could use some TLC.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid process was majorly confusing and time consuming and the billing statements are so incredibly hard to understand that even after taking a class about how to read them I have no idea what they say, but tuition is affordable, and most of the professors are definitely worth it.

Facilities: Our school definitely puts more of an emphasis on sports than it does anything else. It's really disappointing when money and resources are allocated unfairly in the school setting.

For example, every other facility on campus has been updated aside from the performing arts department building, and it's in a terrible state. When it was built they didn't bother having a theatre consultant come in to design the place, instead they had a contractor who has never built a theatre before build it and it has caused a lot of problems since it was built.

Really, the whole place needs an entire overhaul, but all we're asking for is a stage extension and they won't even give us that.

Online Courses: I have been in a total of two online courses and so far one of them has been awesome and the other one has been somewhat less desirable. I think it depends a lot on the subject and the teacher.

Some teachers really seem like they don't care, while others will do anything to help out.

Student Body: I mostly stick with the theatre crowd, but I end up out of the house a lot, hanging out and making great friends.

Facilities: We have one of the best archaeology programs in the country because of all of the field school and hands-on experience that the students get the opportunity to benefit from. For such a small school we have great programs and top-notch professors! Oh, and both our Rodeo and Speech and Debate team have been known to qualify and compete nationally.

Overall Experience: I could not be happier with my experiences at CWC. I found my career path, my independence, and some of my missing confidence here. All of the staff is very supportive and encouraging, it was just a wonderful experience and I'm sad I only get to attend for two years. We have some remarkable professors and career opportunities! Two thumbs up. Five stars!

Tuition & Financial Aid: The scholarship opportunities are great and the tuition is very reasonable. One of the BEST upsides to attending a junior college! CWC is really good about working with you!

College Senior

Career Services: Since it is a junior college and the area of psychology that I would like to go into does not apply to post-grad services, I will be looking into career services at a university.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: There's always something going on, lots of options for activities and socializing.

Campus Resources: The library staff is wonderful, and the tech people are very helpful!

5 College Senior

Academic Experience: There are so many opportunities for various fields!

4 College Senior

Student Body: We have a variety of people, a really friendly group

Academic Flexibility: I am so thankful I chose CWC!!! It is wonderful!

3 College Senior

Online Courses: For my learning style I prefer in-class lecture.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: Honestly, my experience here at this school has not been one of frustration but of ease. Transfering credits was easy and accesible with a click of a button!

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: I'm able to hit up the library whenever I want. The fitness center is very convenient to us students, all we have to do is swipe our ID card. The student center is fun to hang out in with the other students.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: It's great when you're at the school, or at the library. However, when you're off campus in the dorms the wireless access is really low and hard to connect to.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: My psychology teacher has just been amazing throughout this whole journey. She helps you open up parts of your brain where you thought couldn't be unraveled.

4 College Sophomore

Online Courses: One class that I have enjoyed quite a bit is my Genocide class. The experience is one that I wouldn't have expected. The teacher interacts a lot with the students, as well as the students interacting with eachother.
