4 College Freshman

Diversity: There are all kinds of diversity programs and the school is filled with diversity!

4 Recent Alumnus

Diversity: Everything is pretty mixed. We have a large, diverse population.

4 College Student

Diversity: There are clubs for each different group but absolutely no discrimination against anyone. Anyone can join any group and every group is glad to have you.

5 College Junior

Diversity: Everyone on campus is very accepting and welcoming to students of all ethnic, racial, political, economic or sexual background.

4 College Junior

Diversity: One of my professors shared a quote a few quarters ago, and it stuck. "We need to give each other the space to grow, to be ourselves, to exercise our diversity. We need to give each other space so that we may both give and receive such beautiful things as ideas, openness, dignity, joy, healing, and inclusion" (Max de Pree).

I believe that CWU is all about this quote. Not only do we have clubs on campus supporting African Americans, Gay/Straight Alliance, but we also have a wonderful International Program! I am actually involved in a "Conversation Partner" Program this quarter, in which I meet once a week with an International Student, and I'm loving it! This program is not the only pro-diversity program on campus!
