3 College Sophomore

Academics: Being an English major at Central State University is good experience. The workload is not that strenuous. There is course a lot of reading that requires you to analyze every piece of literature that you read or assignment that you do. Critical thinking skills are very important for students to have as well as having the ability to make inferences. The Charles H Wesley building is not too far from any of the dorms and is always open for anyone to go into to speak with faculty and staff.

3 College Sophomore

Academics: Registering for classes is not that bad of an experience. you have to apply early or even as soon as registration is available to get the full advantage of classes that will be available for the following semester. When students register late that takes away a lot of the classes that could have been offered if they were to just apply on time. the other advantage of applying early is that you are able to set up the ideal times for your class schedule.

5 College Junior

Academics: Academics are absolutely central. the Art program here is prestige and valuable for future careers. The few art professors that are here genuinely care about you and prepares you for the real world. Before any art major graduates, they are required to organize an art exhibit open to the community. You honestly get the real experience when you ask questions and put forth the effort!

5 College Junior

Academics: As a communications major, I am learning things that some of my friends at other institutions are not learning. It could be better, but it is not bad. I cannot complain. I believe that I will be equally prepared for the workforce as someone from Northwestern University or USC.
