3 College Junior

Guys & Girls: Be careful with who you associate with

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: Same few restaurants McDonalds, Bob Evans, Applebee's etc. Unless you plan to drive about 20 minutes to Fairfield Commons.

1 College Junior

Diversity: If you are apart of the LGBT community then you should feel right at home because more than half the campus is either openly or secretly gay, or bisexual. Also there really isn't any diversity there are probably about 10 students that are not black attending the campus as a whole. Majority of the campus are "Christians"

1 College Junior

Facilities: Life on campus is very depressing and this is coming from someone who "got involved" as far as organizations, social events and forming friendships. So don't let anyone tell you that you need to get involved because sometimes that is worst. Also there if you are not a party animal, or greek their is rarely anything for you to do on campus. Careful not to get sucked into the night life at Central because that is usually the only fun their is unless you plan to stay in your dorm every weekend. Nothing surround the campus so there is really no where else to go and nothing to do. Food is garbage, people are sneaky, cut throat, out for themselves, liars, and thief's.

2 College Junior

Campus Strictness: People and administration would tell your and your parents how they make sure the campus is safe drug free, and free of crime but truth is they don't. There has been riots, fights, deaths, and a number of other things take place on the campus that should have never taken place.

3 College Junior

Majors: Their are only about 39 degree programs at Central State so that is not a lot to choose from. Also you need to watch the accreditation there because there are always rumors of certain programs not being accredited.

3 College Junior

Majors: The learning and skills that were shown to me were based on certain professors that I had.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: The financial aid on campus can be a headache. Most of the officers from cash management to the financial aid office are very unprofessional, you also have to watch your account very carefully and make sure you are on top of your stuff their because you will find yourself "financially stuck" at that school if you don't

1 College Junior

Campus Dining: If you are a vegan or vegetarian then you will not have really anything to choose from except a little salad bar that has brown salad, and not so fresh veggies most of the time.

3 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: For the most part the guys and girls are easy to get along with. Some girls will occasionally not dress their best but for the most part they dress appropriately. Some guys sag their pants while others don't. Many of them care themselves with respect and dignity.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: A lot of the time the food in the cafeteria is good but some days it could be better. There is also a taco bell and a burger place to chooses if you decide not to go to the cafeteria.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: The administration is very strict about keeping the campus a dry campus. The campus police are always cracking down on students who drink and smoke in the dorms as well as outside them. RA's do room checks routinely to insure there are no drugs or alcohol present in any of the rooms.

Overall Experience: My overall experience was mostly a learning lesson at my school

3 College Senior

Local Atmosphere: The local atmosphere is great when i'm with my close friends.

3 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: The off-campus dining is good just not a lot of options.

3 College Senior

Health & Safety: The Health and security on my campus is ok but can be improved

4 College Senior

Majors: I'm very happy with my program it's not a lot of black psychologist policeman social workers and music teachers/ directors and they give you a chance to receive these things. If I had a chance to do it all over again I would do it all over again because it teach you so much about life and it give you a better understanding of how people react in the work force. My goals is to finish school with an 4.0 top of my class also getting a better understanding in these different languages and also going to grad school to become a psychologist then go to school for medicine and become an OBGYN.

4 College Senior

Majors: I enjoy being apart of my program. We have great teachers, deans and facilities that very thoughtful and encouraging and they will make sure that you graduate and passing all your class. They offer study sections, work study, lunch with the deans. They show you how to make a way out of no way, you will never feel one and they push and push you and if they are hard on you it's only because they know you have the strength and mind set to finish and graduate the just have to make you see what you need to see and they are willing to do so

3 College Senior

Guys & Girls: Everybody is beautiful and there own way in my opinion, but everybody don't think the way I do so most students of they are ugly people will basically call them out on there skin tone, clothing, shoes, hair, fat/skinny. We all put each other down instead of making a school a better place so much violence because of the name calling and put downs. Then you have people like me who say hello to people everyday and smiling to just make the next person day, I know how it feel to be that person to get talked about and I didn't let it bring me down and I'm trying to get others to feel and see that.

Academics: Academics are absolutely central. the Art program here is prestige and valuable for future careers. The few art professors that are here genuinely care about you and prepares you for the real world. Before any art major graduates, they are required to organize an art exhibit open to the community. You honestly get the real experience when you ask questions and put forth the effort!

4 College Junior

Greek Life: As a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. I am going to keep this review as unbiased as possible. The eight of nine NPHC members are on campus including other Greek organizations are very involved in the community and on campus, a great highlight on campus. As a Greek member, we are looked up to as mentors and role-models on campus with very warm and friendly encounters

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: The Off-campus dining is great, only 10 minutes into town with such a great variety

2 College Junior

Weather: The most bi-polar weather you will ever experience. This weather could get you sick quickly if you have a weak immune system

1 College Junior

Transportation: The central state university transportation was recently cut out of the schools budget because there was a liability notice for work-study students driving the vans recklessly causing the transportation man to lose his job. Now students have to rely on taxi-service which cost entirely too much for college students and a bus shuttle that don't come at a convenient time for off-campus students which forces commuters to leave class early. I recommend you have your license and drive yourself.

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: There is at least a police on every corner of central state university when the night light comes on. If you need assistance with getting a walk to your dorm or just to have someone to talk to, they will be there at your service.
