Academic Experience: Just as with any field, my major at my school has great points and bad points. You really have to deal with both and stay focused on goal. Although sometimes, there are challenges, for the most part I am finding the faculty and staff fair and helpful here.

Academic Experience: I think registering could always be easier, but maybe that's wishful thinking. Having to fight for a seat in classes I have to have is very stressful. There should not be a problem with availability if it's your major. I try to stay on a timeline for graduating and finishing this part of my education, but not getting one class I need can and has messed up my plan before. Curriculums are fine. It's the process of getting the class.

In regards to professors, it can vary widely. Ive had great ones and awful ones. I am studious and cover my material given in classes, however, some exams have nothing to do with the material we are told to study? It seems hopeless at times to pass. Not sure why there is often a disconnect between lectures and exams.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: The service at the nursing department is very personable when the staff has the time. They're always working at a fast pace with little time to discuss important matters concerning the healthcare field with the students.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: The professors are approachable at CPCC and the class registration is always dependable and efficient.

Academic Experience: I haven't taken a class that I did not feel was an important part of my major. I've enjoyed learning with all of my professors, and have felt challenged by the majority of my classes.
