3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: I have filed the FAFSA for every year that I've been attending college and I have filled out hundreds of scholarships for college, yet still am in the position of taking out thousands of dollars in Unsubsidized loans. This is not the university's fault that the government has decided that my parents make to much money for me to receive aid, despite he fact that my parents are not helping me pay for my higher education, but the college does have quite a few regulations for being eligible for a subsidized loan. It would be helpful if I could have my honors scholarship from the college and still remain eligible for the subsidized loan option instead of having to pick the lesser of two evils. Also it would be nice if my financial aid office would stop placing aid packages of up to $2,500 in my financial aid award package and then promptly removing them without notice. When I inquire about this removals they inform me that they have finally verified my paperwork and realize that I don't qualify for the aid. This constant change of my aid package makes it hard to plan loan amounts.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: It's rough to figure out what aid you have

5 College Senior

Scholarships: The people are very friendly. The school is very nice and the professors I have had are amazing. I love the program I am in!

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: The financial aid at my school is good, but it sucks when financial aid doesnt cover much for the second semester. To get financial do really good in high school, such as grades.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: Many scholarships are based purely on academics and not on involvement. They are very selective.
