3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I wish they had more elementary classes for the art. work load depends on degree, of course nursing and dental are the most consuming.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: registration is simple since you can do it all on line.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: this was my first college. my struggle has been transferring to a four year

3 College Sophomore

Career Services: I don't know if we have any of those things. I will have to look into that.

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: the big downer is that they cost more then an in-class course. the one class I had uploading problems with the proffesor was on campus (locally) so I was able to pop in and talk to him about it.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: senate is always planning activities, forming committees to make things better. its entirely up to the student to participate.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: we have several labs. so computer asses is not a problem. we also offer wireless, so using your wireless devices also not a problem. printing is about .10/ page. each student is given 15.00 per semester to use for printing. you can also add money if you run out.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: the over all student body is made up of pseos (post secondary education option) students and jocks. so the over all maturity level is very low. though their are a few that are older students that understand the reason they are at school and have clear cut goals.

3 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: I am finding it difficult to transfer to a four year college. the counselors are not proactive and up on what the four year you are looking at is looking for.

2 College Senior

Overall Experience: The nursing program does not have their act together, many nurses are some of the worst I have ever seen. The teachers are very uneducated and class schedules can change at the beginning of the semester with no warning. You can sign up for clinicals for a certain day and time and they will just change the days and times on you, whether it fits into your schedule or not. They expect mounds of homework that really has nothing to do with learning anything. Very little hands on with patients and patient care, and lots of just reading books.

3 College Senior

Facilities: There is nothing very unique about this school.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: Not very much there, very little campus activities except things that teachers make mandatory to go to.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: There is one computer lab available, the staff is not very friendly or helpful and sometimes they have staff that have no idea about computers at all.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: Very few of our professors have actually been out in the field working, they held jobs that very little of their skills were needed so they don't answer questions very well.

4 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: They did help find some financial aid for me, it wasnt much but every little bit helps.

2 College Senior

Career Services: They have on goals for helping graduates find employment. Mostly we are on our own to find jobs.

2 College Senior

Online Courses: The online classes don't usually match up between the chapters you read and the tests you take. The teacher usually doesnt pay any attention to emails and most of the time responds too late.

2 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: We have our schedule changed after signing up for classes, the times and the days changed. I make arrangements with daycare only to go to the first week of school and find out they changed all the days and times and I had to drop one of my classes because it conflicted with another. They really don't have any compassion for people who are working or who have children and have to use daycare. We are at the whim of the school to decide everything.

3 College Senior

Student Body: I think the school could use some fresh teachers. I think that many of the classes should be offered online as well as in the classroom as they fill up quickly.

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: I would choose this school all over again if I had to, and I do recommend it to anyone I know thinking of going to school. It doesn't matter what program, online or in class, they will truly help you succeed, as long as that's what you are working towards.

5 College Senior

Online Courses: The system used is so easy to navigate around in, all things are labeled clearly, and we go through and online orientation before the term starts. The workload is very reasonable, as long as you stay on top of your work and don't procrastinate, then you shouldn't have any problems, and if you do, all you have to do is post a question on the discussion board, and either the teacher, or a classmate will help you out.

Student Body: The diversity of the student body varies greatly, from 70 and 80 year olds, returning to school, all the way to kids in high school, taking college courses. As for where they are from, all over, studying abroad is supported hear, and encouraged. I have yet to see a hurtful act committed against another person here. We all just want to support each other, and help each other work towards our goals. It helps to have your peers cheering you on, it gives you that boost of confidence, that will sometimes make the difference on a grade.

Academic Experience: I am learning applications that I will use in every day life, in the A.A.S. Business Management degree program, the workload is just right. It is not enough for you to feel overwhelmed, but still enough for you to feel like you are accomplishing something. All my teachers I've had, have told me and others in class, that if you need help, or don't understand something, please let them know. They want us to ask questions, and double check our answers.

5 College Senior

Academic Experience: The class registration process is extremely easy, there is usually about 2 weeks before the beginning of a new semester, that "ez" enrollment, is available. After the initial enrollment, you can register for class online, which is great, because you can see everything about the course you are about to enroll in.

5 College Senior

Facilities: There is always something going on that has to do with a culture, all cultures are accepted and welcomed. My classmates are the most caring, kindest, and are genuinely thoughtful, it doesn't matter your age or ethnicity, we are all here working towards the same thing. The social scene at CLC, is very entertaining, there are just so many activities that you can do, whether it's a planned event or one that was put together at the last minute, but we are definitely friends here.
