3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: the most frustrating thing at this college is Appling for financial aid and receiving it and the needed about for classes and books.

4 College Senior

Student Body: CCTC has a wide range of unique and different students

3 College Senior

Facilities: the best thing at CCTC is the teachers, they try there best to help you progress to your best ability, encourage you, and inspire their students.

2 College Senior

Career Services: post grad services need to be offered more times for working, or single parents that cant make a meeting only scheduled for one time one day

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: There are no campus athletic centers, the student center is small, libraries are awesome, campus activities are very weak.

2 College Senior

Campus Resources: the computer labs are helpful and in good locations on the school but the printers are always breaking, and the print limit sucks we need more money on or limit pro account it is not enough for 2 or more classes a semester

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: The fact that it is a technical college it allows students who have been out of school for long periods of time such as myself to adjust and be able to start off with smaller class sizes meaning we are better able to get back into a routine for learning.

4 College Junior

Facilities: Main campus is great just needs an updated and more equipped student center. Outreach locations need better facilities and need student centers.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Most of the classes are available for multiple scheduling possibilities however most of the core classes for any major are at the main campus instead of being also available at the outreach locations. One of my biggest complaints is that sometimes classes are cancelled and students are not notified of them having been cancelled this coming summer semester for example I had a core class cancelled after I had already purchased the required book for it and because I had already removed the plastic wrap I can not return the book.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Being an accountant major is wonderful. Quite often those who are within a few months of graduating are informed of jobs that are open and looking for accounting majors to fill the positions.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Central Carolina Technical offers a wide variety of courses and majors of study, currently I am enrolled for an Associates degree in Accounting, my Daughter in Law is enrolled for an Associates degree in Early Childhood Development and my oldest son will be attending in the fall for his Certificates in Welding.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: One thing I take issue with is the financial aid workers acting like it will be them having to repay if you ask for student loans. I have never had an issue getting the financial aid I qualify for but some of the people who are there to assist you with your financial aid can be rather condescending towards students.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: I have really enjoyed the online courses that I have taken. Some instructors almost spam you with emails/messages while others only message with important updates or in response to a students message. I think the main draw back of online classes is that the interaction is lacking.

4 College Junior

Student Body: The student body of Central Carolina is very diverse and most often students do not fall within groups/cliques but rather interact and enjoy debates and discussing a wide variety of topics.

College Junior

Career Services: I have not as yet taken advantage of career services.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: The outreach campus' could use more resources available to students.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: The computer network is fairly reliable however during issues such as storms the administration could be quicker to respond.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Minus the hassle of financial aide, and the weather delays and some rude teachers it is a great school. it has a low graduation rate but I am glad to know I will be among those who make it to the top from this school so I can reffer people here.

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: the teachers from the online classes do not really interact with the students as much as they could

2 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: the last few snows got us behind and instead of allowing some assignments to be missed or simply not grade as strictly the english teacher forced us to write papers and gave us grades no matter how bad although we were pushed for time

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: the small size enables more one on one per student and teacher ratio

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: the Camden campus does not have much to offer and the Sumter campus is so far away.

2 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: small and crowded and internet services are always messing up

2 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: as a single mom of 3 I do not understand why I had to pay 277.00 for one book. Also because the school is so small why is the tuition over half of what i am rewarded?

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: the advisors could respond in a quicker manner than they do.
