Online Courses: For each topic it depends on which course with which instructor you are taking. I have had very good experiences with online courses but some went above and beyond, where as few courses were just average. For all my online courses; the online learning system is amazing and easy to use. The workload was fair and very reasonable, and the registration process was excellent. For those courses that excelled; the professor/student relationship was great! When I needed assistance or wanted better instructions on how I could prepare an essay better, I got just the help I needed. She was also friendly and eager to take the time to assist students. In this same course, the peer to peer interaction was outstanding. Although, we did not see each other in person...I managed to make friends in the course and we would even have online study sessions, proof-read and help each other with essay assignments. The class discussion area (available for all the students to share ideas and discuss academics) was always full and responsive, students often helped each other and interacted pertaining to school work, just as they would in a class room setting.

Campus Resources: Central Carolina provides a number of available computer labs for students to use. There are also computers located throughout the campus in various departments depending on their needs, such as the financial aid office has at least 12 student computers for students to easily access their online account to look up classes, schedules, check their status, FASFA information, and much more through the schools online portal. There are also labtops provided via the instructors to bring into their classrooms, their are enough laptops for each student to access their own and the wireless network holds a strong signal with quick loading pages. There are also printers located throughout the campus for students to access as needed.

Campus Resources: The student, libraries, aesthetics, and campus activities are excellent. Central Carolina often has an event going on at the main campus for students and their families to take part in. The school is beautiful and well maintained! The resources on campus are very modern and helpful for any student, also easy accessible.

Career Services: I have not entered the nursing program yet so am still unsure of the career aspects for after graduation but I have heard great things about what to expect from fellow students and graduates.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The cost of school is a lot more expensive than I expected, although I do receive Financial Assistance I have run into a few issues with it not being enough funds for courses, when I do not take enough credits on in one semester. Not to mention, the cost of books and some books are not available to rent or buy use. I have also found that renting a some books is just a few dollars shy of buying it out right! There are also books that cannot be purchased online like at chegg.com or any other book discount resource because the books were special made for Central Caroline such as my biology book. Central Carolina also changes books too often for most courses, making it difficult to sell your used books. I have run into quite a few issues with the cost via campus book store.

Facilities: I am not sure of all the extra programs Central Carolina has to offer. I am unaware of any sports teams or atheletics but I do not that CCTC has a number of clubs and student events to offer. The health science building and technology is the best and provides tons of technology to generate the settings of working in a real hospital to gain hands on experience.

Academic Flexibility: I found it very easy to start and register for school. Changing and registering classes is simple and can be done online. Most classes (except clinical classes in the nursing program) are very flexible (with a number of different times and days of the week to choose from) and there are a variety of classes offered for online learning.

Student Body: The student body at Central Carolina is very diverse, I see ethnicity of all types through-out the campus. From experience of previous classes students are; friendly, accepting of differences, intelligent, eager to learn, and expressive of different views that they care about most. Students are active in study groups, clubs, campus activities and events.

Overall Experience: As discussed on the previous page, Central Carolina is an amazing school to attend. I do not regret my decision to go to Central Carolina. I also have attended a previous technical college in 2008 (Midlands Technical) and I did not like that school at all. Based from my experience, Central Carolina is top-rate compared to Midlands Tech. My school is unique in the fact that a large portion of students are adults, just like myself. Adults who are ambitious and ready for a positive change to start a new career in a field of their choice. The courses are set up in a way that is helpful to learning and conservative to your schedule, even as a busy adult. My favorite experience is learning Biology from Ms. Turner's class, she was very helpful and taught in a way that information would be held onto and not forgotten. I felt as If I was actually learning new things and not just getting by. I have really enjoyed learning at Central Caroline and am very optimistic about the future!

Academic Experience: I have completed 4 semesters of college to complete my core (prerequisite) classes but I have not yet entered the program of my choice. I am currently an undergraduate, majoring in the nursing program (ADN).

Academic Experience: I enjoy learning at Central Carolina Technical College very much. The professors/instructors are helpful and teach well. The class registration process is easy and can be done online or on campus. The workload is fair, of course depending on how many classes you register for in one semester or whether you are a full or part time student. Central Caroline provides easy access to study sessions and tutors. There are tutor sessions provided on campus and online, the online system works well and anyone can even find assistance with essays through submitting their paper. There are many different programs of study to choose from and I will be admitting to the nursing program for my associates degree, which I look very forward to becoming a part of.

Facilities: The new health science building it top of the line. The technology within it makes it possible to learn the required material at a hands on level,.
