3 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: There is not much to do for students, but it isn't a horrible town. The town's attitudes towards the college are normally negative.

1 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: Hackettstown, New Jersey, is possibly the most boring town in the country. It is a pathetic excuse for a college town - the main street is horribly sad and has a lot of weird, unnecessary businesses on it (like carpet cleaners and places where you can buy blinds). The town is empty and the cops are bored, so if there are ever any parties thrown, they're usually busted pretty quickly. There is a train station in Hackettstown, but it only runs on weekdays during strange hours, so forget it if you're trying to have a fun weekend in the city. Anything remotely fun is at least a 45 minute drive away, so you better have a car if you're planning on attending this school.

4 College Senior

Local Atmosphere: It's in a vibrant area, lots to do

2 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: The other students were not friendly at all. It is a very small college so it was difficult to make friends or start a study group.

4 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: the town is extremely quaint, there is a lot to do, plus anywhere you go feels like home
