2 College Sophomore

Academics: The classes are okay, but they're somewhat of a joke. If you're looking to transfer from this school - forget it - the credit system Centenary has is very different to any other schools, and the catalogue is horribly written. The school also has a pretty bad reputation to other colleges.

5 College Junior

Academics: I was just accepted to Centenary, but my experience with the staff has been very positive. I know that the professors are extremely well qualified and accessible when needed.

3 College Sophomore

Academics: I am majoring in Social Work with a minor in Psychology. I found my classes to be interesting and informative. I felt that I had alot of free time during the first semester but busier the second semester. I was a paid note taker both semesters which gave me something to do and I got paid for it. I did feel that there could have been a slightly heavier work load or more information in order to learn more. My instructors were very knowledgeable and were easy to talk to. The classes were small which provided time to ask questions if we had any. It was a good first year experience.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: I like the program. I go to the CAPS program in Parsippany. It is a great program, you work in groups most of the time, it is a fair amount of work for a working adult. The curriculum is geared toward the working professional. The facilities are good for what they are.

4 College Senior

Academics: Education Student – The education program at Centenary College is a very well known one the east coast and one of the only accredited education programs around. It provides small, intimate classes that accommodates students of all learning abilities and styles. The professors have countless years of teaching experience, knowledge, and professional insight that is incredibly beneficial to the education majors here at Centenary College. The curriculum is vast, encompassing a broad range of coursework including lesson plan writing, observations, and a practicum/student teaching internship.
