Campus Strictness: Everyone knows the guidelines before they begin school, if they have a problem, they don't have to go hear. By deciding to come to this school, you are deciding to abide by their rules. I have no issues with any of them because I was fully aware of them before coming and still chose to come.

Diversity: Its hard to give a rating to this. There is not much diversity on campus, however, campus is very accepting of diversity and is constantly trying to add more diversity to this school. No one is discriminated against based on any of the above listed. If they are, it is very rare. Also, requiring an answer to every question is not okay. It is a survey, I should be able to choose which questions I wish to answer and which I do not. It is not your business where I stand politically.

Athletics: Most students are too busy to attend sporting events. There are those people who enjoy watching sports and are always there. Lots of people use the gym.

3 College Senior

Weather: I mean, it has four seasons...what do you expect? It is very cold and windy in the winter but no one can control the weather. The beginning of the school year and the end of the school year has very nice weather usually.

2 College Senior

Scholarships: There are not many scholarships offered on campus and it is difficult to find off campus scholarships. Financial aid can be a struggle but it is because it is a private institution.

College Senior

Off-Campus Housing: I've never lived off campus so I don't really know what off campus housing is like. I hear that a lot of people love it. There are lots of options, you just need to know where to look.

College Senior

Guys & Girls: It would not be appropriate for me to judge anyone on campus by the way they look. I have met some really great people at school and have built wonderful friendships. I have never dated anyone from campus and its not my business what everyone else's relationships are like.

College Senior

Nightlife: My school has campus events which are so fun! But there aren't parties or any type of night life at my school. And everyone knows that when they apply for this college.

Parking: There isn't any off campus parking but there is no need for it. There are plenty of student lots with plenty of spaces. You always find a spot, sometimes its just far away. I have never received tickets/fines and there isn't a need for a car on campus unless you go to church or work off campus by yourself.

Campus Housing: Living on campus is pricey and all of the dorms are different but all offer the same amenities, social atmosphere, cost, and convenience. It makes it easy to choose what dorm you want to live in. Almost all of the dorms are in the same area so there isn't a huge difference in distance from classes.

College Senior

Transportation: Our campus is very small and all buildings are within walking distance. There is no transportation and there is not a need for one either.

Local Atmosphere: There are nearby towns with shopping malls and chain restaurants. But my school is just a little farm town with little mom and pop restaurants and stores and not much to do off campus. But it a nice town. I love it. Everyone is friendly, we never have trouble with locals. There are nice parks to go and study in or go for a little hike. There are always places to play sports and relax.

Drug Safety: I go to a Christian school where drugs and alcohol are banned from campus. I am not naive, though. I do know that there are people at school who use drugs/alcohol, however, I do not know anyone who does. It is not visible on campus and I have never been asked or pressured to use drugs or alcohol.

Local Atmosphere: Small town, but things to do if you have a car.

Weather: The summer and fall months create a beautiful campus. The grass, trees, and scenery is wonderful, even into the winter months. However, during the winter months, the wind and temperatures may provide a bitter cold.

Guys & Girls: Many students at CU are committed to ministry and a life of following Christ. They encourage and spur one another on in love toward our greater goal. Many build life long friendships and often find their future spouse.

Drug Safety: Drug and alcohol use is prohibited on and off campus for Cedarville students. I have never seen or heard of the use of alcohol or drugs. This creates a very good, clean, and healthy atmosphere, which I greatly admire and value.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: Most students go on to be accepted into graduate programs and become very successful. Faculty invest into each student in order to prepare them properly for the future.
