Overall Experience: My favorite experience were the teachers, like Mr. Rogers (drama and speech) and Mr. Neil (math). Both were passionate not only about their subjects, but about their students as well. I would go to this school again, but next time I would start early to have a better selection for classes.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Tuition is very inexpensive. A full load of 12 credit hours will probably cost you around 600-700 dollars. Which is fantastic compared to a public university which is around 1000 dollars per course, and around 4000 dollars for a full load.

Overall Experience: The job/intern field is not, from what I've observed, much of a priority. You can get corrections and advice on your resume.

You also have to pursue it, it is not an automatically sent out type of message from your major department like it is at my university (UTA).

Overall Experience: The classes are small so it's a very personal experience. It is easy to enroll in courses.

There is plenty of parking, and there are plenty of inexpensive courses to take and flexible schedules to fit your work schedule.

There are highly qualified teachers in person, however for the online portion can be a coin flip.

Campus Resources: They have a wonderful theatre department.

3 College Senior

Career Services: The advisement area needs a lot more work on the online end, however if you meet up in person you can generally get some nice advice. However, I wish there were more emphasis on a personal relationship with an adviser to help you pick out a major that would be right for you.

Online Courses: Fantastic flexibility with the courses. The work load is manageable, you just need time managing skills. In fact that's where I learned how to improve my time management skills. The interaction with the students varies by teacher. Usually the online courses are very organized and easy to understand except in rare cases.

Student Body: Students interact with each other but usually on a social basis and not on an academic basis.

5 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: Very easy to schedule with plenty of online classes through the DCCCD system and plenty of flexibility with those courses. Also very easy to transfer credits over to my University (UTA)

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid people always have some type of attitude even if you ask them a simple question. I don't know what it is, but they are the people you NEED to avoid at all costs. Now the tuition isn't bad compared to other community colleges around the area.

3 Recent Alumnus

Overall Experience: You can communicate easily, but they might not get back with you in enough time for you to do what you wanted to do in the question.

3 Recent Alumnus

Overall Experience: Depending on the degree, the instructors will try to help you as much as they can and to the best of their ability. They will make sure you can fullfill the requirements that fit the need of the area.

Online Courses: Online courses aren't a bad thing, but they do leave out the face-to-face interaction with other students and the instructor. It also doesn't present messages the way they should. You have to interpret messages and information in your way and not the other persons way.

Facilities: My school is excellent, the professors , staff and custodians are all wonderful.

College Senior

Career Services: I honestly don't know because I never went to the career center at times. I also don't know a lot about the job prospects and the alumni network.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I really dislike that the tuition tends to raise on certain years. The only times that I feel that I am getting my money's worth is when I feel that the teacher actually cares about how I am progressing in class. I was told that it is best to get financial aid as early as possible. When a student receives the financial aid, the student should seriously take advantage of the financial aid because if something goes wrong such as failing a class, the financial aid will have to be paid back.

4 College Sophomore

Career Services: My school is a 2 year school, but lots of people from my program are finding jobs or switching for better jobs.

5 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I attend classes in the evening, which works out for me, because I have a full-time job. But for the most part we are able to do our classwork and labs without running over. The best part about this program is that tutoring is offered at the end of week, which allows time to really get a great fill for what we are working on.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I like coming into the HVAC program without real world experience, I'm not over looked by the teacher from this school. Everyone for the admin office to whole HVAC team of teacher are there to help us succeed. This is not a waste of my time and I believe I'm gonna change my life.

4 College Student

Overall Experience: Everything is great except for the school spirit.

5 College Student

Tuition & Financial Aid: I'm glad I choose to go to CVC.

College Student

Academic Experience: I'm going to start in the summer.

3 College Student

Academic Experience: I haven't heard about special study groups.

5 College Student

Online Courses: Everything about is is great!

4 College Student

Campus Resources: A bigger gym would be nice.
