Cedar Crest does not admit men, with the exception of the evening/weekend programs, online classes, and the nursing program. Because Cedar Crest is part of the local LVAIC (Lehigh Valley Association of Independent Colleges) consortium, girls can meet guys on the campuses of other nearby colleges. All of the other colleges in the consortium are coed. Cedar Crest students can also cross-register at the other LVAIC schools, so in addition to taking a great class, students can meet guys, too! They can also attend those schools' events, such as football games, concerts, and events organized through the LVAIC consortium.

Birth Control Available?

Best Places to Meet Guys & Girls
  1. Pig Pen

Social Scene
Because Cedar Crest is a small school, students will know a lot of the people on campus. There are communities that form around different activities, majors, or residence halls, but students generally aren't cliquish, and it's easy to find friends.
Hookups or Relationships?
There aren't as many relationships or hookups within the campus community as at a coed school. Among girls who are interested in girls, there are some relationships on campus. Some Cedar Crest students also have relationships with students on campuses at other area colleges or are in long-distance relationships. Regardless of orientation, students can find a relationship in "The Valley," which is overall a great place for college students.
Dress Code
There is not one predominant way that students dress. Some girls walk around campus in dresses and heels, while others go to classes in Cedar Crest sweatpants and a T-shirt. There isn't pressure to wear certain brands or dress a certain way.
Did You Know?
Besides Cedar Crest, schools in the Lehigh Valley Association of Independent Colleges (LVAIC) include DeSales University, Lafayette College, Lehigh University, Moravian College, and Muhlenberg College.
