Cecil College has been very convenient. Teachers are usually very understanding if I have to miss a class, or need more time on an assignment. As for transferring credits, the process was not easy: ordering transcripts takes longer than I think it should. Also, when transferring credits into Cecil, it can be very confusing (even though the advisers are all very kind).
I think Cecil is a wonderful school. I majored in the Visual Communications Program. Almost everyone in the VCP is friendly, knowledgeable, and really cares about you. Some of the classes were harder than others, but by putting in enough time and effort, nothing was impossible.
I like the facilities at Cecil quite a bit. The library is a wonderful place to quietly study. I also love the nature trail, which goes by a beautiful stream. The only thing I wish is that the computer labs had longer hours. There have been many a night when I have been stuck at the school with no access to a computer.
I took two online walking classes, and I was not very happy with them. For the class, I had to walk for a certain amount of time each week, and record my progress. We also had to read some articles online. I did learn a lot about walking, however I was not happy with the class because of the professor. He did not make the assignments very clear. He took a long time to grade our very simple assignments. Also, I simply got the feeling that he didn't put very much effort into the class.
I'm a Video Production major, and I have been very happy with most of classes and teachers. There is a comfortable mac lab, where lab staff are eager and willing to help me. There is a special internships opportunities bulletin board, where local opportunities are offered. Some of the classes take a lot of time and effort, but they are all do-able. The community of students and teachers is very friendly.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
