Academic Flexibility: Cecil College has been very convenient. Teachers are usually very understanding if I have to miss a class, or need more time on an assignment. As for transferring credits, the process was not easy: ordering transcripts takes longer than I think it should. Also, when transferring credits into Cecil, it can be very confusing (even though the advisers are all very kind).

Overall Experience: I think Cecil is a wonderful school. I majored in the Visual Communications Program. Almost everyone in the VCP is friendly, knowledgeable, and really cares about you. Some of the classes were harder than others, but by putting in enough time and effort, nothing was impossible.

Facilities: I like the facilities at Cecil quite a bit. The library is a wonderful place to quietly study. I also love the nature trail, which goes by a beautiful stream. The only thing I wish is that the computer labs had longer hours. There have been many a night when I have been stuck at the school with no access to a computer.

Online Courses: I took two online walking classes, and I was not very happy with them. For the class, I had to walk for a certain amount of time each week, and record my progress. We also had to read some articles online. I did learn a lot about walking, however I was not happy with the class because of the professor. He did not make the assignments very clear. He took a long time to grade our very simple assignments. Also, I simply got the feeling that he didn't put very much effort into the class.

Academic Experience: I'm a Video Production major, and I have been very happy with most of classes and teachers. There is a comfortable mac lab, where lab staff are eager and willing to help me. There is a special internships opportunities bulletin board, where local opportunities are offered. Some of the classes take a lot of time and effort, but they are all do-able. The community of students and teachers is very friendly.

Academic Experience: All of my teachers have been very knowledgeable, and are eager to help me learn. Some of them have been disorganized or been ignorant of student needs, and this has caused some difficulty, but their teaching skills usually make up for this.

College Senior

Career Services: I haven't utilized the post-grad services at Cecil College.

Overall Experience: I feel as though I'm getting what I'm paying for. I would choose my school because it is close to home and reliable.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The school isn't expensive at all, but working with financial aid can be a bit of a hassle sometimes. There are not enough employees to handle things. There is almost always a long wait to speak with someone.

Facilities: The school isn't very unique to me. I see the same things every day and I'm not in awe. We do have a nature trail that I've heard is great when the weather permits. There is a new building being built, it looks very modern and I'm excited to see the finished product.

Academic Experience: Being a business administration major is a lot of fun. At times it can be a lot of work to handle, but it is college so I wouldn't expect anything less! My professors are all very personable. They know what they're talking about too! They do a great job in keeping me motivated to stick with my major.

Academic Experience: There is a good variety of academics that are offered. You could pick just about any topic to learn about, that you probably wouldn't have even thought about. Just like any other college, registration for classes can be hectic. There is usually a long wait to see an advisor, but it is a small college so I can see that as reasonable, to an extent. There are tudors for practically any subject which is great because not everyone can catch onto the same materials as another person.

Career Services: I have heard great things about the career services, but I personally do not have experience with it yet.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: There are plenty of resources for students to find what they need in order to get an assignment done. If they can't find something, there is always someone that can show them where to go.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The wireless connection isn't the best at my school. I tend to use it more on my cell phone to check emails, but it is slow and cuts off frequently. The desktop computers have wonderful connection though.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: Everyone seems to work together and care about your future and setting you on the right path.

4 College Sophomore

Online Courses: The professors of an online course are great. They keep updated grades and leave feedback when needed. They make sure to respond to emails very soon and are thorough when describing an assignment.

4 College Sophomore

Student Body: The students get along, whether they are from different ethnic backgrounds or different majors. There is no discrimination against others. Most students interact together and get along well.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: The fitness center and athletic centers are excellent. I love to work out and enjoy the activities.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: The computer lab is great and has plenty enough for students to use.

3 College Junior

Career Services: I haven't done any career services. But I heard it is good.

4 College Junior

Facilities: The school is very well kept, new buildings, school spirit. Different organizations of all types.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Its okay. There are many ways to get money for college.

College Junior

Online Courses: I did not take any online classes.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: My experience has been good for my academics. I had flexible classes, some are not transferable. My professors were good and respected.
