Campus Resources: Mainly as applies to the library. It needs to be available more - later hours and Sunday hours.

4 Recent Alumnus

Online Courses: Nothing really to say here. The on-line classes I have taken have been fine.

3 Recent Alumnus

Overall Experience: I have met some staff that are very nice. I am an older student, so I get a bit frustrated with the behavior of the "kids'" but that's the way it is.

Academic Experience: I feel like some things that are required for the nursing program are only required 1) to make more money for the school and 2) as a way of just weeding out people, but not necessary.

3 Recent Alumnus

Academic Experience: It would be nice if there was more flexibility and more classes offered during the summer. It would also be nice if something was open on Sundays - it doesn't have to be the whole campus, but one area (the library, computer lab, reading/writing lab), but one of these places should be open anyway (I think most colleges are open), but people need an option for a place to go when they can't study at home, don't have a computer, etc. It's very common that tests, finals are on Mondays so there should be a place to go on Sundays.

Career Services: I would not have any knowledge of this right now. I haven't graduated yet.

3 Recent Alumnus

Academic Flexibility: The school needs to provide better hours, in general. The campus is closed on Sundays!! That's unacceptable!

Student Body: The basketball players are jerks and they get away with bad behavior. I think because they are all black and people are afraid to confront them for fear they'll be accused of racism. Bad behavior is just bad behavior. They are disrespectful to other students, especially women.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I just feel like there is a lot of confusion. At times, we find out about "problems" last minute, sometimes the staff seems bothered when we need help. The Foundation Scholarship is puzzling. They award a scholarship (including having the recipient send a note to the donor and invite the recipient to a public luncheon to receive award) then they rescind it but don't tell you (this happens apparently if you qualify for a Pell grant). But the Pell Grant doesn't pay for everything. You have to scrape money together and then they take away a scholarship you were awarded and qualified for??

4 Recent Alumnus

Campus Resources: I never used the student gym but it was always available. The library was resourceful.

4 Recent Alumnus

Student Body: I do not care about ethnicity or sexual orientation so I'll assume there is diversity. For once I did not feel shunned for my lack of femininity or for being a woman in a metal band. I felt really accepted by all of my fellow music students, it felt like a band of misfits to me; I just felt a lot of camaraderie.

4 Recent Alumnus

Career Services: All of my credits except for one transferred to UMBC.

4 Recent Alumnus

Overall Experience: The admissions people were so incredibly friendly. My overall experience really was great.

5 Recent Alumnus

Academic Flexibility: The flexibility of classes was great. All of my credits except for one transferred over to UMBC.

Facilities: The campus really is beautiful. Once the new math and sciences building is finished i think it'll be even better. I did not really have time to be social outside of classes.

4 Recent Alumnus

Academic Experience: While at times I did not feel to challenged in the area of performance, the music theory classes were so helpful for transferring to a different school and taking their music theory placement test. I have made improvements as a performer. The vocal teacher is phenomenal, and the music teachers really care about you.

4 Recent Alumnus

Academic Experience: Registration was relatively easy. The workload for the zoology course was challenging for me. I highly enjoyed the English classes; the teacher didn't think I was crazy when I did an essay comparing "The Yellow Wallpaper" to "The Heroin Diaries". I adore the music teachers.

4 Recent Alumnus

Tuition & Financial Aid: I got the financial aid that I needed.

4 Recent Alumnus

Online Courses: While I do prefer a hands-on classroom setting, the few online courses that I took were very convenient time-wise.

College Freshman

Career Services: I have no idea how that works at Cecil.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Cecil is nice if you are looking for a 2 year degree.

3 College Freshman

Student Body: I don't interact a lot with the other students, I go to school and go home.

3 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: Its okay, the teachers make their office hours clear and they let us know when there is a change.

College Freshman

Online Courses: I've never taken online classes.

College Freshman

Facilities: Cecil is a small college and there isn't much going on.
