College Sophomore

Nightlife: I don't live on campus so I don't really know. But people say it's not very lively.

4 College Sophomore

Nightlife: On campus there are many parties and activities supplied by the school. Plus Charlotte is only a 30 minute drive away.

3 College Freshman

Nightlife: The nightlife at the school is great for the most part. From playing sports to cookouts and bonfires, there really is no reason that you should be bored.

2 Recent Alumnus

Nightlife: Not much selection. Charlotte is the closest place for a true club/bar atmosphere and that is 45 minutes away.

3 College Freshman

Nightlife: There are lots of parties on campus and they're pretty fun. We have 2 clubs close by that have college night. They aren't far about a five to ten minute drive. Parties on campus are free, and you can walk to them. There is always good music and everyone usually attends.

Nightlife here isn't too bad. Some complain that you have to drive an hour to Charlotte to really do anything, but an hour's distance isn't bad. Plus, there are some things in town to do, such as clubs, bars, movies, and house parties. There are a good amount of house parties to go to, as long as you make friends (which is not hard here).

The clubs and bars in town are pretty cheap, for entrance and for drinks. It's mostly the College crowd, too. There are bands that play around town, as well. If you choose to go to Charlotte for some nightlife, you will find a ton of stuff, and it's usually not much more expensive than staying in town. Underage students can still get into the clubs, which is fun with friends. They can also go to the movies right in town.
