Student Body: This school was horrible for me from day 1. First, they lost my transcripts & tried to tell me I never turned them in. After pressing the issue, they found them underneath a stack of other students paperwork. After that issued was resolved, I was in a class & they pulled me out of that class because I was "over-qualified" & put me in another class. I completed that. Then, when I tried to apply to their ADN program, they denied me because they wanted the class they pulled me out of. Made NO sense & needless to say, I was pissed. So, I went to Coastal & took the 2nd portion of a class & they still wouldn't accept me. Keep in mind, I have every pre-req complete & have a 4.0 gpa. So, I am applying to other surrounding counties schools. I met with another college & after reviewing Carteret's transcript, it is apparent that Carteret has left out a completed class from my transcript which is a deal-breaker for other ADN programs. So, now I get to argue with them more tomorrow. Save your money & go somewhere else! It has been a run-around nightmare with them!
