No one really interacts with each other. Everyone keeps to themselves or friends they had made in high school. I haven't made any new "friends" mostly just people I talk with in my classes. Most people use Carroll as a stepping stone to a four year university, and I don't blame them.
There isn't really much diversity at all .
Because it is a community college I would say that the majority of the student body come from hard working families and the student wants to further his or her education on a limited budget. Most students also work while going to school full time. There isn't a lot of diversity in the school. For the most part everyone is friendly.
My school has a lot of different clubs and social outings that are easy to join and attend. We have fairs in the main hall where sometimes there's a free meal, ice cream, music, and informative handouts. Carroll is a really decent sized school, not overwhelmingly big or too small. The people I have met are all friendly and many invite you to the clubs they've joined.
Additionally, Carroll even goes beyond the student life and reaches out the community. They frequently send fliers in the mail with dates for free movies, plays or a crab feast! In the summer there is outdoor movie nights where everyone sprawls out on the grass and watches a fun, family movie. Carroll has a decent sized drama group so there are many plays and music fests lining the calendars.
At the beginning of each new semester faculty greet students at the main entrance of the college with a calendar for the whole semester with all the dates for upcoming events filled.
Carroll also has intramural sports such as soccer, basketball and volleyball allowing the students to be active even in the cold snowy months.
Finally, Carroll has a large resource of tutors and material and often hold tutoring classes and classes on how to succeed in college showing me that not only is my education important to me but also to my school.
The student body at Carroll is large! There are Christian clubs, yoga classes and so fourth. There is a lot of diversity at school and I have yet to see any bullying or fights. There's a place for everyone at this Community College!
The student body at Carroll is very diverse. There is so much you can do at Carroll that you never feel left out. Everyone is generaly nice, and very helpfulin answering questions. The staff is great too.
