Academic Experience: I am so glad I chose the MA program! I like that it was available at night from 6-10pm. There's a lot of work, but it's not so much you can't handle if you mange you're time right. We get plenty of time for labs and the materials and equipment are great. I'm in my last term and I feel that I'm well prepared for extern. I know there will be things I run into at my site that I won't have covered in class, but that's why we have externships, to get a rounded education.

Academic Experience: It was super quick and easy to get enrolled at Carrington. All the administrators make it as easy as possible and make sure that you aren't confused or have any unanswered questions.

Overall Experience: I absolutely love my instructor for the MA night program! Cody Stevens is super intelligent, funny, and makes you feel comfortable in what you're doing. I highly recommend him as an instructor if you're going to be a medical assistant.

Academic Flexibility: I chose this school primarily because they offered the entire program at night which is what works best for me. I did not like that none of my credits transfered in.

Online Courses: course is not offered online. It is not something you can learn without hands-on experience.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The program is the most expensive that Carrington offers. However, it's 2 years and you get everything done. At the local junior college they offer a 2 year radiography program., once you complete the GE classes. And even if you have a 4.0 GPA, there is still a chance you won't get in. I have recently heard from a friend that they had a family member go through a JC program in another state and were able to complete the program in 8 years. 8 YEARS!!!! So if you think its expensive now, just imagine 8 years of school ( how much will that cost?), and you could be in a new career for possibly 5 years already. Also the staff and teachers are awesome! You receive hands on experience with equipment from day one, but it's all classroom. Once you get out to clinical sites after the 1st year you hit the ground running!
