3 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: The University is located in Oakland which is pretty much college town. There are 2 other major universities nearby. Thrusday night is the best night to go out in Oakland, seeing most students from the Universities hangout down in all the resturants and go to surrounding areas.

4 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: There is plenty to do. The campus is surrounded by shopping, restaurants, and museums. It is five minutes from downtown. There is also a larger university nearby.

4 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: Pittsburgh is a great city, yes there are some problems, but what city doesn't have its issues. Pittsburgh is a great city to start college in.

3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: I'm pretty familiar with the Pittsburgh area because I grew up there. I'm going to be a freshman this upcoming fall and I'm going to be a Nursing Major. I'm very excited and love how friendly everyone is on the campus! It will also be fun to go around to the different shops in the Oakland area with friends.

5 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: Carlow University is in Oakland which is right by Pittsburgh. This area is a cultural melting pot. The busses can take students practically anywhere in the city where they can induldge in shopping, concerts, attractions, sporting events and different restaurants. Oakland is mainly a city full of college students so local attitude is very accepting to students.
