College Sophomore

Transportation: I can't answer for sure because I have not paid attention to it.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: Professors are good, from my experience, the workload isn't overbearing.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: Classes seem easy enough. There isn't much homework.

College Sophomore

Weather: Weather doesn't have much of an effect, though, admittedly, classes were not cancelled from time to time, even with frigid temperatures and hazardous road conditions.

College Sophomore

Nightlife: It is pretty much quiet at night on campus. I rarely see anyone out.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: The program application process is straight forward and simple. And switching majors isn't too bad either.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: So far, so good. I do good in the classes, and I have a good idea of what I'm doing.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: I have seldom heard of any disturbances on campus, and I see security patrolling on a regular basis.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: School spirit is outstanding. Most people attend games and they enjoy the trash talk (nice trash talk). Many professors announce when there is going to be a game and we get emails for it.

Overall Experience: It's the atmosphere and the beauty of the place. Their student to teacher ratio is awesome! The professors also get to know you by name and they get to know you on a personal level and they help you grow spiritually.

Campus Dining: Our dinning hall has a different menu every day and that is emailed to you. We have a Chic-Fil-A on campus as well as Papa Johns who accept your student ID cards and we have a Grille. On our student ID cards every semester the school puts 150 dollars on it and you can spend it at any of those 3 restaurants. It's really convenient

3 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: I'm not much of a social person and I don't typically pay attention to other people on campus. It's just like your basic campus, some people dress nice others don't care.

3 College Sophomore

Transportation: Our campus is so close together that most people just walk to their destination. The only time you need a car is if you are going to Wal-Mart. For foreign students they have a driver who picks them up every Wednesday to go shopping for things they need. When it comes to events off campus they do have the option of riding in a van or driving yourself.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: I think our most popular study area is in the library, it stays open until two o'clock and it's always silent; good place to concentrate. The professors are really kind and they are willing to work with you; on the first day of class they give you their email address, office phone, and cell phone so you can contact them if you have any questions concerning any of the work they have given. Some of the curriculum is tough but balances itself out.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: I don't think the school policies are affecting students' academic. They enforce their rules and as adults we have to take responsibility for our actions. This is a Christian college with many morals and values that they follow and as students we know those morals and values and we should respect those.

2 College Sophomore

Nightlife: Campbellsville has a no alcohol tolerance and the fines are hefty. Taylor County (which is the county that Campbellsville is located in) is a dry county. There are no bars or clubs that I have seen and most of the students go home one the weekend or they go to different colleges/universities to party.

4 College Sophomore

Scholarships: The only reason it was a hassle was because of FAFSA. Campbellsville gives all incoming freshman an academic scholarship and you get it every year for four years. The most they award is 10,000 which cuts tuition down a lot. The financial aid office and business office are willing to work with you and they inform you if anything has changed on your account.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: Living off campus will knock off a lot of your cost for Campbellsville and it's cheaper to live off campus but Campbellsville has guidelines that you have to follow before you can live off campus. I believe Campbellsville owns some apartments that they rent to students but I'm not for sure.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Campbellsville is a little pricey but Financial Aid works with you to help pay for your semester. There is only one female dorm and it is a really nice place to live. Miss Lisa always keeps it clean and she is always a pleasure to be around. The RA's in Stapp are extremely kind and they love planning gatherings and parties for the ladies in the dorm.

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: The academic programs are challenging but the professors are willing to work with you. There are many places set up on campus for students to go, sit out, enjoy the weather, and mingle. We can go on mission trips with the school and they go all over the world. Our school also does OCC (shoe boxes) and they get shipped to many different places and they are for kids in different countries for Christmas and we help spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.

4 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: The community is kind of centered around the college. It works with the students and the locals are very kind and friendly. Restaurants and other stores have discounts for college students and almost everything is within walking distance.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: Did not have any problems with applying for financial aid.

Tips: Do each item line by line. Do not skip around.

4 College Junior

Scholarships: The financial aid office is very helpful and are willing to assist students with any questions or concerns the students may have and if I don't have financial assistance then they are willing to work out a payment plan for me to pay for my tuition.

4 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: The campus I attend is great. It is surrounded by restaurants and shopping centers. It is located in a Louisville and there are plenty of attractions and activities to participate in and the community shows respect for the students.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: I don't live on campus and it is easy for me to get to class. I also know students who share rides to school and some who ride the bus.
