3 College Junior

Drug Safety: It's college, alot of kids drink but you aren't labeled as a social outcast if you don't, it's no big deal. I haven't really noticed a whole lot of drug use at my school but I'm sure it has happened before.

5 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: I have never seen anyone drink or use drugs on campus. I know of a few people who choose to drink or smoke weed off campus, but I've never witnessed peer pressure or even the alcohol being on campus. It's a great atmosphere, seriously!

4 College Freshman

Drug Safety: The school is very clear on their views

3 College Freshman

Drug Safety: Unlike any other college , kids here drink. But there are deffinately a . Ton of others things to do if thats not your thing

3 College Freshman

Drug Safety: People can find drugs if they really need to but I feel like high school was easier to obtain drugs because you know everyone.

The policies on campus are very strict. No alcohol or drugs are allowed on campus. Also, there are designated smoking areas for students to smoke cigarettes.

There are a few bars that are near campus for students who are 21 and older. There is not a large bar scene within the San Marcos area, but some of the surrounding communities have great places to grab a good and cheap drink.
