4 College Freshman

Scholarships: The financial aid process was easy to access once I was accepted into the school. All I had to do was apply to FAFSA beforehand, then when set up with my school portal I just had to accept/decline my awards and was notified when aid would be distributed and given information if there were any other fees I needed to pay.

Scholarships: I did not receive my financial aid package until 4 months into the fall semester. There was a mix-up with paper work and although I spoke to the financial aid counselors multiple times, the issue wasn't resolved until much later. My advice is to make an appointment for a private session with a counselor. Have them explain everything to you and tell you what you need to do, especially if you are a first generation college student like myself.

Scholarships: My experience with financial aid was great all i did was my fafsa and soon was able to find out my financial aid package. The school can help you with the form if you need help.

Scholarships: The Financial provided by schools in the government sort of Helps the poor a tremendous amount as they should but most likely giving some more then they even need, While middle class citizens like myself are expected to be able to pay a lot of the cost for tuition and books when really it is not that simple we still have to take out multiple loans leaving us in debt and many lower class citizens with extra money. I have noticed this when comparing my friends and I's financial aid.
