5 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: There are so many places to go out and eat to off campus. You can choose from a large variety of ethnic foods. Not many places give student discounts off campus. The cost of off campus dining is reasonable. Not too expensive but not so cheap depending on where you go. There are places to go and eat all around so you can always find a great spot and try new things.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Easy to get to places and lots of chains that are affordable as well as delicious. Theres also multiples of every major chain so if one is too busy, you can go to another (best ex. In N Out). I also fell in love with the trend of shops that have boba drinks as their main specialty (ex. Cha for Tea, Hiccups, etc.) for special occasions on a budget.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: I don't eat out very often so I can't really say to much about it.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: It's got the average chain restaurants like McDonalds and Subway, but it also has some fairly good restaurants

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: There is so much variety, it's insane.

Long Beach is a big city, and there is never a lack of food options. Down the street from the University, there are plenty of eateries either on Bellflower Boulevard or Atherton Street, including Wendy's, IHOP, In-N-Out Burger, Carl's Jr., Jamba Juice, McDonald's, and Baja Fresh. In a larger city, there is always something for everyone. There are also diners and restaurants nearby. If you're hungry, just look around and you'll find something that will satisfy your tastebuds. On Second Street, there are Lebanese, Indian, Japanese, Thai, Italian, Greek, and Korean restaurants. Diversity is everywhere around Long Beach, and, therefore, the food is diverse, as well.

There are rarely complaints about food choices and places. If people want popular food, it's around, but if there is a desire for something new, it never hurts to try a new restaurant and chances are it is going to be delicious and amazing. A big fan favorite around the CSULB area is Michael's on Naples Ristorante—a tasty restaurant, with a nice bar and good service.
