4 College Freshman

Academics: Nursing is to be my specific major because it's challenging.

3 College Freshman

Academics: Not that many of a strict teachers who told their kids the right things.

4 College Junior

Academics: The programs are relatively smaller and that makes staff and profs. more accessible and not so overwhelmed with outside duties. They are here for us and live in the moment. It's rare that I have a prof. that seems aloof and split in 20 different directions, which could easily be the case if the prof has too much on their plate. Here at State, the campus is pretty close-knit and people genuinely like being a part of the community. There is a lot of pride that goes into the work being done and that makes all the difference.

4 College Junior

Academics: Within the MFA program there are such topics as Creative Non-fiction, Fiction and Poetry. There are at least 2 different profs. for each section and you can take courses from both profs and get a different experience each time. The profs are easy to fall in love with because they are knowledgeable and genuinely excited about the field. Many of the profs. are published throughout the school semesters and it is exciting to be a part of the celebrations, as they carve out a name for themselves in the writing world.

5 College Senior

Academics: You are pushed to be involved in the community and many times if students aren't required they won't. I appreciate my programs devotion to it's deaf community.
