Greek Life: I wouldn't know. Many greek students are proud of being in a fraternity/sorority. I would say its more for making friends and getting connections.

Majors: When entering the Pre-Nursing Program as a freshman, you are automatically placed into the prenursing cluster, which is unique in that it places students from the same major in the same classes. Its great so that students can get to know each other and form friendships and study groups early on. This helps make it easier to get through hard pre-rec classes such as Anatomy and Physiology and Chemistry.

Majors: I haven't had an internship yet. If i did, i would possibly look at hospital training internships, or teacher assistant internships.

Diversity: Diversity: A majority of people are from NorCal/SoCal, so not much diversity. The rest are either international students or graduate students. Many are religious, often Christian, Catholic, Muslim. People are generally accepting of different people, because we like diversity. We even have a Diversity Center that helps in providing an outlet for discussing, debating. They also partner with Student Life and Leadership for social gatherings and events to foster community.

Off-Campus Dining: In terms of location, there are many hot spots for food, restaurants, malls, and movies, just beyond the city. Hayward is at the heart of the cities of Fremont, Union City, Newark, where a variety of ethnic supermarkets, restaurants, and vendors are located.

Guys & Girls: The most popular guys and girls are athletic, socially intelligent, and involved in a lot of groups, including orientation. But that's on the surface. Most people are down to earth, easygoing, open, friendly, and individually unique. However, some students suffer from too much freedom (in their clothes, style, appearance) and a bit of overconfidence. However, they counter this by being hardworking, loyal and supportive of others.

Campus Dining: Campus dining commons: nice, bright dining area, plenty of space and tables. Comfy booths and tv to watch. Beautiful view, looks over the bay area. Service is great, everyone treats you like a friend, with a smile and small talk. Food is pretty typical dining food: includes grill, salad bar, sandwich bar, soup, dinner main dish items that differ every day.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: it's not that bad, however I'm not sure how my aid will go this year.

Overall Experience: This is a pretty good school, just make sure to take advantage of being able to befriend your professors.

3 College Sophomore

Academics: It can be challenging but it gets easier.

3 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: I haven't had any bad experiences.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: It was a long process but it came through.

Campus Strictness: The freshman barely have any freedom, it's actually pretty annoying.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: I don't really go out to eat.

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: I like that our campus is fairly small.

And our freshman dorms are the nicest that I've ever seen, I had a beautiful view on my balcony!

The whole campus is just gorgeous, and so many beautiful views.
