Advice on Finding a Job/Internship
Finding a job as a college student can be challenging, especially with the need for flexible hours to fit your class schedule. The Career Center on campus is there for a reason: to help students! Definitely make an appointment with a career counselor. They can help find current jobs or internships that would look great on a resume once you graduate, as well as help find you a lasting job after you get your diploma! The Career Center also holds job fairs and workshops to help students. When it comes to finding internships, make sure to pay attention to e-mails! Oftentimes internship opportunities that arise are sent out to the entire student e-mail list to make it fair.
