Overall Experience: I wouldn't go anywhere else. CIIS provides support for the whole person/student: mind and body and spirit. It is rigorous in nature, while supporting the inner-life of the individual. Professors, TA's, and other staff are very supportive.

3 College Junior

Nightlife: Being a distance student, I am unsure about the nightlife in and around my school.

3 College Junior

Computers: For one of my on-line classes, the sound and video is very poor. We keep working on different techniques to improve the situation, but it has not resolved itself yet.

3 College Junior

Parking: I am a distance student, and therefore do not know about parking at my school.

3 College Junior

Health & Safety: I am a distance student and therefore do not know about the health center at my school.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: Being a distance student, I do not have first hand knowledge of the off campus housing in the area of my school. CIIS is located in downtown San Francisco, and from what I know ab out the area, there is not much housing. Most students live in the greater Bay Area, and rely on public transportation, such as BART. There is no on-campus housing at CIIS.

3 College Senior

Guys & Girls: Typical students wear whatever they want. We have people from all over California, all over the country and all over the world attending this school. The interests are global, international, cross-cultural, spiritual, transpersonal, health, wholeness.

5 College Senior

Diversity: There are not enough choices to click for what the political beliefs are of the students who attend this school.

2 College Senior

Off-Campus Housing: There are no dorms in the one-building post-graduate campus, and San Francisco is packed full of people and rents just keep rising. Students get really creative- like myself, I live in my minivan to live and breathe in this city and afford graduate school.

5 College Senior

Facilities: We have a bee hive on the roof, a meditation room, a zen garden, yoga classes.

5 College Senior

Facilities: While academically rigorous, my program as well as others, encourage a holistic approach to learning from mind-body-heart-spirit.

3 College Senior

Athletics: We don't have an athletics department, but there are people of all types and we are a friendly bunch. People get together.

5 College Senior

Academics: East-West Psychology is a student-centered graduate program that has core requirements and encourages cross-disciplinary studies.

5 College Senior

Academics: Integral studies are the way of the future. In a world in planetary and social upheaval it is time to get integrated.

3 College Senior

Campus Strictness: There are all the normal policies in place to maintain safety, academic integrity.

3 College Senior

Weather: Wear layers. San Francisco is historically known for its fog in Golden Gate and along the ocean, but can be warm and sunny at the same time in the concrete jungle of the Mission district.

5 College Senior

Local Atmosphere: San Francisco has plenty of arts and cultural activities as well as intellectual, spiritual and ecologically mindful
