3 College Senior

Campus Strictness: it's pretty strict both in the school and dorm. we don't have a large number of people so the officers can do their jobs pretty well.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: Its really not super strict in many regards, but in terms of safety, in all its forms, they are very strict. Attendance is strictly monitored, and if one misses too many classes, it can turn into a failing grade. Which makes sense, really.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: CCA campus strictness mainly focuses on making sure all students have id present, meaning our safety officers are always on the look out for those who do not belong on campus.

4 College Junior

Campus Strictness: Super chill! Except for the front desk. They are pretty strict about checking ID cards.

4 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: This school is solely for artists and the staff is easy to negotiate with on certain things.

While the staff and teachers at CCA are pretty laid-back, there are strict policies in the dorms and on campus. Students are not allowed to do any drugs or drink in any of the dorms or College-owned apartments, and even though the school cannot stop students from doing these things at someone else’s house, students are not even allowed to arrive at the dorms or apartments drunk or high due to liability and safety issues. Students are allowed to smoke on campus but cannot do it within 25 feet of the dorms or apartments, and no one is allowed to have candles or anything that could be set on fire in any of the campus housing. Punishment for breaking these rules could include getting banned from the Residential Life program at CCA. Also, freshmen who live on campus are not allowed to have or be even seen driving a car. Even if a school official sees a resident freshman driving on a nearby street, it could still lead to a ban from the dorms. The school says this rule is needed because there is very limited parking at CCA.

The College is pretty laid-back about what students do for their class projects, but it is strict about borrowing equipment and tools from campus. Students may check something out for a day, and must return it the next day before noon. There is a renewal process, but once something is overdue, the student must pay a fine before being able to take anything else out. All students are personally responsible for  paying for anything that is lost or stolen while they are borrowing it, which can get very expensive, so be careful.
