4 College Senior

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: butte is a weird school.

Student Body: As I've said, my school is very diverse. There is a well mix of not just ethnics and all that, but also a great diversity of age groups. I've had parents, young and old and really old, in my classes.

Academic Flexibility: I only had trouble with one class, and even then it wasn't a hassle for me. i just had to take another class. no big deal on my part.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I love that I am qualified for financial aid, and that I have it. Its harder now that I have limited FA though, but when I had it, it was sufficient. The process was easy and straightforward. And they make sure to keep up with you on meetings and deadlines.

Online Courses: Well, I haven't taken a solely online course. More like, classes that have requirements for online work. .

4 Recent Alumnus

Facilities: its smallish but just the people. A huge difference in other schools, at least I would guess from what I've seen, when it comes to the ethnic groups and the diverse mix is people.

4 Recent Alumnus

Academic Experience: I wouldn't say its the best because, well I wouldn't know how you can rate that... But I really like the campus, the atmosphere, the people. Its great.

Academic Experience: Okay, now in this I think its awesome. The possible professions, my eyes have been opened to possible job openings because of this school.

4 College Junior

Facilities: My school uses solar panels all over the grounds and is a very 'green' orientated campus. We are located on a wildlife refuge. The campus is also in the middle of two towns so everyone eats in the cafeteria.

College Junior

Online Courses: I haven't taken any online courses yet so I cannot answer these questions.

College Junior

Career Services: I do not know about the post-grad services at this time.

College Junior

Academic Experience: I have not officially declared my major yet.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: There are many different classes available and usually they are available at several different times. I may not have agreed with my professors on everything, but I have respected each one. Class registration is a pain. Usually, you are assigned a specific time that you can start registering online, but sometimes you are in class. And sometimes the classes you wanted have already been taken.

Tuition & Financial Aid: My education at this school is worth the money. It is a community college and there are drawbacks, but the classes and professors are amazing. The financial aid office is easy to access, but they are not always helpful. Go online and print any and all forms out before going to the office. Usually a student is just taking papers and filing them for someone else. In my experience, they aren't the most helpful.

3 College Junior

Student Body: Although I have not partaken in any clubs as of yet, I have seen several groups get together and attend meeting on campus. I have also seen several signs and events put on by the student body. Many events have focused on suicide prevention, job fairs, and poetry slams. I see several different kinds of students attending my school, from different ethnicity to social class.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: The school has a beautiful setting and open areas that allow me to not feel suffocated in a classroom. I've recommended this school to several people because of it's ambiance and classes.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: A few of my teachers were a bit harsh on vacations and assignment due dates, but there hasn't been anything to make me file a complaint with the administration.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: Although the campus is isolated, the island-like feeling helps me focus on my education. Everything I need is fairly easy to access.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: There is a huge computer lab that is accessible the majority of the day. The wireless network is only available in buildings, but I've never had an issue accessing it.

3 College Junior

Student Body: There isn't enough social interaction between the students outside of class for there to be a 'student community'.

3 College Junior

Facilities: I'm fortunate to be attending a school with a great fashion design program, it just isn't strong enough to support a career.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I've had multiple problems with commuting form campus to campus due to the fact that the shuttles for students do not have a regular schedule. Also, the school keeps trying to combine classes causing class and their pre-requisites to be taught in the same classroom, at the same time, but the same teacher.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: Butte College does a lot to help the students, and the school is really nice. i am blessed to have this opportunity to go to this school.
