Campus Housing: The people I know who lived in dorms complained A LOT. It's just too outdated. The only decent place to live on campus is the Dawg Pound, but it's all too expensive.

College Sophomore

Facilities: It's cool I guess. I don't spend much time on campus.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: I've eaten in the dining hall 3x, and it was kinda gross. C-Club is expensive, and mostly offers fattening fast food. I wish we had restaurants on campus like Qdoba.

Campus Strictness: I don't live on campus, so I don't know about strictness regarding dorms and what not, but I haven't had any issues with parking or my academics.

3 College Sophomore

Nightlife: I don't drink/party/club, but I do know a little something about BRIP. It's pretty lame in my opinion because its just a bunch of bars and nothing else. There needs to be something fun and wholesome added in.

College Sophomore

Athletics: I haven't been to a game yet.

3 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: I've lived in Indianapolis for much of my life, and I was born here. I've grown tired of it; also, the crime is getting out of hand.

2 College Sophomore

Greek Life: Greek life is all I hear about on campus. I'm not a party animal either, so there isn't anything for me to do when it comes to socializing with people that live on campus.

Guys & Girls: Most of the boys at Butler are not my type, and I don't find most of them attractive. They all dress like a typical male college student- in sweat pants. So far, I've seen two guys of interest at Butler, but one already graduated and the other graduates soon. The female to male ratio is way off, not enough guys!!!

I don't know much about the social scene; I don't participate in it. I'm not a fan of frats and sororities, and I don't fit in really.

College Sophomore

Majors: I haven't acquired an internship yet.

3 College Sophomore

Majors: Well, I applied to Butler after the deadline during my 2nd semester of high school. I was wait listed, but they still accepted me because of my academic performance.

Others that went to my high school and applied did not get accepted, but they had decent grades I suppose. Butler looks for people with an exceptional academic record; plus, SAT score usually. A person's financial situation may also affect their decision of course, which is to be expected from a private school.

I'm a biology major, but in order to be accepted, I at first had to apply as an exploratory major because biology classes were filled up. After I was accepted, I got into the biology program with little effort. Butler basically will pick who they want to pick.

Overall Experience: The class sizes are small, and all the professors I've had so far have been good except for one. There are plenty of different courses to take from dance to advanced mathematics, whatever suits someone's needs and wants. The class style is"normal" (i.e projected notes, large study halls for lecture, ect.)

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: As a graduate from Butler, you'll definitely will be able to get a job in the Midwest; Butler is classified as prestigious because it's so expensive and private.

Most upperclassmen have internships from what I can tell, but I don't know about their job prospects and companies looking to recruit at the school. I also don't know much about our career center; I plan on going to medical school after I graduate.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: Not the best. It gets very repetitive very fast. There are no late night on campus dining options.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Good variety of places to eat, but not many places have a student discount.

4 College Sophomore

Nightlife: There's lots of bars, but they're in Broad Ripple, so you either have to take a cab or find a DD

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: I absolutely love the campus, but the dorms are getting pretty old and the dining hall isn't the best either.

5 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: The people are one of my favorite things about Butler. It doesn't matter if you're an athlete, greek, ect. Everyone is extremely outgoing and friendly.

3 College Sophomore

Diversity: There is not too much diversity around campus, but everyone is accepted.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: Especially when it comes to basketball season, the fan support is unbelievable.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: I have never had a time on campus when I have felt unsafe. If it is late you can always call the campus police and they will escort you will you need to go.

4 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: Being pretty close to downtown Indianapolis and Broad Ripple provides a great local atmosphere

4 College Sophomore

Academics: Majority of the professors are great and will do whatever it takes to help you be successful.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: The curriculum is molded in a way to give you lots of hands on experience before you enter into the real world

4 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: A lot of parking tickets are given out
