3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: They were flexible with my schedule.

4 College Junior

Career Services: There are really good career services here, they help you decide what you really want to pursue later after you are finished with the schooling here.

Student Body: There are a lot of students who do not care as much since they are just at the school for sports, but for the most part the student body is very diverse and well educated.

Facilities: The facilities are okay, with the money they are getting they could do updating or make it better.

Tuition & Financial Aid: It is a nice community college, especially compared to others, so it is worth the extra money that you pay going here.

4 College Sophomore

Online Courses: We just switched from Angel to Canvas this year, and I really liked it. I learned a lot from my classes, but they were also fairly easy, and I passed with a 90 in both. The teachers did a great job of giving me feedback on my assignments and also communicating what was expected. Bravo!

Facilities: Warning: Butler is a dead campus on weekends. A huge majority of students are from Wichita and the surrounding areas, and they go home a lot on weekends. Also, the parties here tend to be lame, and people try too hard. HOWEVER, the staff in residence life and student life are absolutely amazing, and truly care about the school and its students.

Academic Flexibility: I had no problem transferring classes. There are night classes offered, but usually they are just one day a week, which I don't like.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The school does a great job assisting with learning. There is a student disability services office, athletic tutors, and there are also free tutors available to your average student, especially in science subjects. They also do a fantastic job with athletic and activity scholarships also.A vast majority of on-campus students have their books-and-tuition paid for, which is nice.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Butler has several computer labs. The one's in the union work well and printing is free. Wi-fi is accessible on campus, but it's not that dependable, and it gets very slow during finals week. The computers in the residence halls are a pain to use though, and the girls dorm, Cummins, doesn't have it's own lab.

4 College Sophomore

Student Body: There is a lot of diversity on campus. There are students from all different races, economic backgrounds, and religions. Clubs are a part of the campus life that works with the diversity on campus and helps all students interact with each other.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Class registration is probably the easiest part of the whole process at the beginning of the semester. You can do it with an advisor or by yourself and the advisors work to really make the scheduling work for you.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: I would personally suggest that you have a tablet or computer to work on outside of campus and maybe a printer too. Both would help with keeping up with your assignments on the go. For me that is very important because I am not able to be on campus all day trying to work on one of their computers. There is also no way to save your content on the computers there for any real length of time.

Academic Flexibility: I went to an office, filled out an application, was pretty much immediately accepted, and an advisor worked out a schedule with me all the same day. She helped me figure out what credits would transfer and qualify for each required course.
