Academic Experience at Brown Mackie College - Indianapolis: My academic experience has been fantastic because I went into the legal studies program hoping to gain knowledge that would allow me to advance in my grad degree. I am very pleased that I chose legal studies because all my professors are experienced and genuinely care about the success of our student body. My professors are very helpful and always discuss new ways are degrees will be beneficial out in the real world. I have learned so much new material that some of my friends who are getting ready for law school ask me questions and references about a course subject. Because my professors have given me different tools to navigate my success for law school I am able to help my friends and I will a clue for what to look forward too when I too go to law school.

Academic Experience at Brown Mackie College - Indianapolis: My teachers are the best thing a student could have because most of my friends and even myself when I went to a university more than half of the teachers had no experience in the field of study he or she was teaching to myself and others, but because he or she had been teaching so long he or she gained knowledge. I despised when I would ask a question and the professor would say look it up or figure it out. I couldn't believe that I was hearing these responses because in undergrad it is suppose to be a learning, but new experience. In grad school these responses would be appropriate because you are at an advanced level and should have some discipline on how to look topics up that you may not understand. At my school any questions or any doubt is answered with hesitation.

Career Services at Brown Mackie College - San Antonio: the career service at my job is okay. I have not been there long enough to really give a proper rating of the resources.

Tuition & Financial Aid at Brown Mackie College - Indianapolis: This happens to be the worst area in my school by far because when I first entered my school and signed up for classes my veterans benefits were entered correctly and I had no issues for a year and a half. Then a lady quit and everything seem to fall apart. A lot of staff that had worked in the financial aid department had either been fired or quit and no one seem to have a clue to fix the issues. I had to babysit and go down and have meetings with several financial directors and the campus president. Since then, things have gotten a little better, but it still I is not completely resolved and I have to email to ensure things are done right. Other peers of mine say he or she hates financial aid and that it is the worst department in our school.

Career Services at Brown Mackie College - Indianapolis: The good things about my field of study is that I plan to go to law school so my degree will be valid and I do not have to transfer credits or worry about if my credits will transfer. My professors are mostly attorneys or have worked in the legal field for quite sometime so I am able to gain contacts in order to network.

Academic Flexibility at Brown Mackie College - Indianapolis: I love the fact that my school offers one class a month because not only is it flexible with my work schedule, but it also is very easy to concentrate on one class at a time because life does get in the way. With we having one class a month I am able to maintain my 4.0 grade point average and work full time in order to support my family.

Campus Resources at Brown Mackie College - Indianapolis: My school has a huge resource center which is the career services center which gives students opportunities to build or update his or hers resumes, job openings, and interview skills and techniques to land the job of your choice. My school also has academic advisors who deliver the morning message about new volunteer events and and community activities that are currently getting ready to take place or that are coming up. My school actively creates games and school outings that are either free or discounted to help build the com morality in the school environment.

Student Body at Brown Mackie College - Indianapolis: The diversity in my school is well put together and I would say that some organizations really do get involved with the community and also with politics that are currently occurring in today's society. For instance I am part of the Dream Act organization and our organization has taken various steps including myself to fight for immigration reform in order to improve diversity. It is not right to not allow an undocumented alien who has been here their whole entire life education due to two fault of his or her. It affects students each and everyday because how can he or she better themselves or expand if he or she is being denied something most Americans refuse to gain, but have the privilege to obtain. I see it each and everyday, the faces of hurt and disappointment, which in the end hurts and disappoints myself and my fellow peers.

Online Courses at Brown Mackie College - Indianapolis: I will have to say that I am more of a in class student and prefer lectures face to face. However, given the fact that my professors go over what our online day will be about and what is expected of me the day prior, it is easier to manage online days and complete the necessary assignments for that day. If I have a question I can email my professor or simply contact a classmate and get the homework completed.

Overall Experience at Brown Mackie College - Indianapolis: I have had the best and most knowledgeable teachers a school could offer. Every professor I have had and still have are well educated in field of study which pertains to the class. I never have to rethink if a professor knows what he or she is talking about because it's proven each day I learn something it sticks with me vice going in and out of one ear.

Overall Experience at Brown Mackie College - Indianapolis: The good thing I enjoy about Brown Mackie College is at the end of your degree each student must go on as an intern and gain 120 credit hours with a professional group or company in his or her field of study. When I was preparing for graduation with my paralegal degree I not only absorbed the knowledge I received from two criminal and family attorneys, but I went with them to have that life impacting experience to see how the legal world actually worked. It was not your typical internship where you get stuck behind the desk and do just paper work. I loved the fact that our school takes pride in our intern sites and give us great opportunities to gain impacting and life changing experiences for the better.

Academic Experience at Brown Mackie College - Northern Kentucky: I enjoy the teachers and how they make my education important. They don't treat me like a dollar in the schools pocket. My learning pace is also very successful, the one course a month method, works great for my busy schedule. My homework load is my only complaint but realistically thinking that's not to overwhelming. I really enjoy the school, teacher and fellow class mates overall. I had no clue this would be the direction my life would be going in but with the guidance from the administrative staff I feel comfortable. The field I will be working in once I complete the program is a good fit for me because I'm currently working in the health care field. I enjoy helping others and giving back. That's how I like to look at it.

Academic Experience at Brown Mackie College - Northern Kentucky: My Pro D instructor suggested different apps. for me to download of which would be very helpful to me while in college. They all were on point, my I-Pad was compatible for the apps. She really made things much easier for me in so many areas. My math instructor had a really direct way of helping me to understand my College Algebra of which I really had a hard time at first but then it became like second grade math. I really enjoy coming to college more than I thought I would have.

Academic Flexibility at Brown Mackie College - Greenville: They have a lot of flexibility for the classes and its much easier with one class a month.

Tuition & Financial Aid at Brown Mackie College - Greenville: I transferred to BMC because the OTA program at Greenville Tech was so competitive. I just started BMC this month, but the tuition was much higher than I anticipated. I'm looking for any type of scholarship assistance I can find. BMC seems to be a great school so far and I'm looking forward to graduation day.

Campus Resources at Brown Mackie College - Miami: I started going to Brown Mackie- Miami and from the tour received when I first visited they offer career help, they have an student center for tutoring and all the staff are helpful in whatever you need assistance with.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources at Brown Mackie College - Akron: Everything has went electronic basically. We have no library this sucks.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience at Brown Mackie College - Akron: Things are paced way to fast, if I could change schools I would. I won't because I have been here to long and all my classes wouldn't transfer. People do not retain the information well enough to do well in their fields.

3 College Senior

Online Courses at Brown Mackie College - Akron: BMC does what they call a blended class. Its on and off line I think it has decent peer interaction. Some professors link up with their students better then others. The workload is over bearing sometimes but feasible.
