Academic Experience: I enjoy the teachers and how they make my education important. They don't treat me like a dollar in the schools pocket. My learning pace is also very successful, the one course a month method, works great for my busy schedule. My homework load is my only complaint but realistically thinking that's not to overwhelming. I really enjoy the school, teacher and fellow class mates overall. I had no clue this would be the direction my life would be going in but with the guidance from the administrative staff I feel comfortable. The field I will be working in once I complete the program is a good fit for me because I'm currently working in the health care field. I enjoy helping others and giving back. That's how I like to look at it.

Academic Experience: My Pro D instructor suggested different apps. for me to download of which would be very helpful to me while in college. They all were on point, my I-Pad was compatible for the apps. She really made things much easier for me in so many areas. My math instructor had a really direct way of helping me to understand my College Algebra of which I really had a hard time at first but then it became like second grade math. I really enjoy coming to college more than I thought I would have.

Academic Flexibility: My first experience with how flexible the staff can be towards that students was demonstrated with the Compass Test. I had been rescheduled for the Compass Test due to software errors during my first attempt to take this exam. The second attempt to take this exam there was extreme weather conditions but the faculty was able to allow me to come in early to take the exam so that I did not have to miss any more work.

Career Services: Job prospects are extremely important when exciting school. I do believe that this will be a successful experience for me when completing my career at Brown Mackie due to the experience that I will receive with field work.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Finances always has the possibly of being a problem for each and every student. Most students who are returning to college to pursue a different degree are focused on the realities of continuing to pay for normal experiences in the community such as housing, cars, etc. This does cause stress on individuals to either get financial aid from the government, private loans, or scholarships. I do believe that any school can be affordable no matter what financial outcome you are faced with. Some people may have to work harder to get scholarships and others may be able to just pay cash. Either way each student has to do what is best for his or her situation and it is completely dependent on the individual and their family.

Campus Resources: Available resources on campus are fa-nominal. Having a large selection of computer labs and work space is needed for long days and nights of studying. Being able to have space to sit at a desk with very limited distractions to concentrate on school work is very important to students due to the other life demands that the student many have once they are at home. Being able to provide computers and staff to help assist students is extremely beneficial and will only help advance the student and the reputation of the school.

Campus Resources: Having a computer available is extremely important. Brown Mackie does a great job of making this a possibility of each and every student. Technology is transforming the world that we currently live in each and every day. Being able to have the internet at your figure tips is extremely important for all ages. Technology helps keep people connected and students assessments achievable through the use of computers.

Academic Experience: Occupation therapy is not just a degree, it is a career that is centered around helping others. Having a curriculum that is centered about specific studies and field work is extremely important. Not only is study time in the class room, reading materials, and doing projects important but getting out in the community brings a different light to learning. Being able to have hands on experience as well as being able to have mentors that are right at your hand is extremely beneficial and irreplaceable.

Academic Experience: Class registration is made simple. Once you are in a cohort your scheduled is pre-selected for you. This experience is very different from a traditional college experience at a larger university. At a large University you have to get the the registration office at a particular time based on credits that you have and your last name. This allows many students to not get the classes that they need to advance in their degree. This can be extremely frustrating for students. At Brown Mackie this is not an issue at all. It is nice to know that as a student you do not have to worry about getting registered for classes and instead spend your time and energy on your school and career.

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: Brown Mackie provides classes and degrees that are specialized trade programs. Taking courses that will ultimately get you to the point where you can sit before a state exam is powerful. Many people go into college without any idea of what they would like to be once they have a degree. At Brown Mackie you are able to focus on a particular field and excel in what you are passionate about. Brown Mackie is dedicated to improving careers and lives of their students.

Student Body: The student body at my school is diverse. There are students that are from all walks of life. Some students come straight from high school and others have a professional background with years of workforce experience. Brown Mackie College gives students that opportunity to come from all different walks of life and come together to further their knowledge and education. College should be an opportunity to gain new relationships, expand your knowledge, and help get you closer to your career. This is exactly what Brown Mackie represents.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I love my school, especially the one course a month program there. But there are a few changes that I think should be made or things to be improved on.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I did not like that the financial aid could not come up with some way to cover my out of pocket money. They told me my choices were to get a consigner or do monthly payments. I still do not have a job, so my parents have yo help me pay the monthly payments of about 200 dollars

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Everything is very easy to catch up on in class. The teachers try their best to make sure you will pass their class.

5 College Junior

Student Body: Everyone is so nice and just want to help each other out.
