3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: There is some diversity and good options. I prefer to cook my own food and not spend the money to eat out all the time

4 College Student

Off-Campus Dining: When eating off campus it is great because there are very different ethnic varieties. You get to experience something new every week.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: The cost is average and the locations are convenient. Student discounts are available sometimes too. I especially love all the Japanese restaurants.

4 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: Because of the large Returned Missionary population we have a ton of different types of ethnic cuisine.

3 Recent Alumnus

Off-Campus Dining: The most interesting places are overpriced (Mostly basing this off of an experience at The Tortilla Bar).

Provo has a plethora of great restaurants. Any type of chain restaurant can be found here, and there are also lots of good little local places. If you are coming from a place without great Mexican food, you are in luck, because there are plenty of authentic Mexican and South American restaurants.

Fridays and Saturdays bring out the crowds, so the most popular places can get crowded. Also, families in Utah County tend to be large, and lots of people don't leave their kids home; don't be surprised to be seated next to a toddler. The Utah clean air act prohibits smoking in any restaurant; it is a sure tip-off that you are from out-of-state if you ask for non-smoking. There are plenty of great little restaurants, so don't be afraid to tread off the beaten path and explore new cuisines!
