Guys & Girls: Some of the best people go to BYU. They are the kind of people that I fit in with and can admire and emulate. They make me a better person and make me want to be a better person.

Scholarships: There are too many people looking for scholarship help and not enough scholarships to go around especially with the caliber of students who are eligible to receive scholarships.

Campus Strictness: I appreciate the honor code at BYU because then I don't have to worry about the problems that come with alcohol and drug use. Plus, I know I can trust the behavior of those around me. I think there is a much better environment for studying and succeeding in college without having to worry about those things. It's fantastic!

Computers: I have my own computer and problems I had with it in the beginning were easily resolved. Computer labs are generally busy, but still always available if I need them.

A BYU experience is unlike anything else. The things that you will learn go far beyond what is taught in the classrooms, and the people that you will meet are exceptional. Researching the school, and being familiar with the rules and expectations of students, will make the transition smoother and help you get the most out of your BYU experience.

Talking with people who have attended, reading books such as this one, and looking at the BYU Web site (www.byu.edu) are all great ways to make sure that this is really the school for you. If you decide that BYU is what you want, then jump in and enjoy it! You are in for a great and character-building experience.
