Health & Safety: I always feel extremely safe on campus. There is very limited crime in Provo.

4 College Freshman

Transportation: The bus is a bit on the expensive side, but the FrontRunner that runs throughout Utah is the absolute best.

5 College Senior

Campus Strictness: We follow an Honor Code at BYU. We agree to certain rules and in turn recognize that the rules are for our benefit and the benefit of others. If you don't obey the rules you are the one that is harmed.

5 College Senior

Diversity: Most of the students belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The diversity in that aspect is non existent really but everyone is extremely understanding and open to other people and there ideas.

5 College Senior

Academics: The Statistics department is world-class. ALL of the professors care about your success. They want to help you succeed and get good interships and jobs.

5 College Senior

Athletics: Brigham Young University is a well known school for football, basketball, soccer, and volleyball. We compete.

5 College Senior

Guys & Girls: The majority of the guys have spent two years teaching about Jesus Christ and are always willing to help others.

5 College Senior

Off-Campus Housing: The biggest thing is finding the right place. There are always good and bad options just don't be dumb when you choose a place to live and you'll be good.

5 College Senior

Computers: They meet every need. Patience is key. If something isn't working you know it'll be fixed but it is just a matter of waiting a few minutes.

5 College Senior

A BYU experience is unlike anything else. The things that you will learn go far beyond what is taught in the classrooms, and the people that you will meet are exceptional. Researching the school, and being familiar with the rules and expectations of students, will make the transition smoother and help you get the most out of your BYU experience.

Talking with people who have attended, reading books such as this one, and looking at the BYU Web site (www.byu.edu) are all great ways to make sure that this is really the school for you. If you decide that BYU is what you want, then jump in and enjoy it! You are in for a great and character-building experience.
