3 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: As long as you don't do anything stupid/dangerous, you'll have a great time

4 College Senior

Campus Strictness: Everything is pretty great, except for how early campus police will break up some of the parties that happen.

4 College Senior

Campus Strictness: Brandeis enforces most things that are reasonable. There is not a whole lot of punishment for things like noise complaints or underage drinking. You get written up and if it's really bad then maybe you have to meet with the Dean. However, Brandeis takes health and safety as its top priority and doesn't bother with silly things.

4 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: Campus strictness is about average in all aspects, but the police will give you a ticket for parking if you don't have a pass.

5 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: Brandeis is fantastic when it comes to rule regulation. There are no omnipresent police forces nor are rules enforced in a totalitarian fashion. Generally, as long as no one (including yourself) is in danger or being particularly obnoxious, the school will allow you to do anything you see fit (within reason, of course).

Overall campus strictness is pretty lenient. Almost every student has been at a Brandeis party that has been broken up by the police. The consequences for those types of violations are usually very small, though. The police aren't overly concerned with punishing those who are responsible. Enforcement of quiet hours usually depends on the Community Advisor (CA). Students have the option of registering a party 48 hours in advance. This ensures parties with loud music won't be broken up by on-duty CAs.
