4 College Senior

Health & Safety: I've never heard of any issue with sexual assault on campus, and there are emergency poles everywhere on campus.

5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Being one who has been sexually assaulted on campus, I don't blame the campus. But I do wish they would patrol more at night, and not just in their cars. There needs to be more police so students know that their behavior is unacceptable and that they will get caught. Especially for women, the safety on campus needs to be better.

3 College Senior

Health & Safety: Campus police patrol campus. Generally BG is pretty safe. There is an occasional sexual assault, robbery, or assault.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: On-Campus is usually pretty quiet at nights and on the weekends, but there is not place to get food. So, we generally have to eat off campus, and it's not always safe downtown, especially late at night. I walk to work at WBGU-TV station which is part of campus but also off-campus. The streetlights never work and it doesn't feel very safe.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: Bowling Green is colleg bound campus. There is no major threat and is completely safe. I feel comfortable of walking anywhere by myself. I just don't like walking alone at night at times because I just don't like walkimg in the dark. Not saying BGSU isn't safe at night, I just had other experiences before I attended BGSU that made me uncomfortable to walk at night by myself.
